David when you are in the South East, try visit a village near Imo Airport called Logara. That community is renowned for traditional bone setting and healing of complex bone fractures and boasts of many 'doctors'. Their knowledge and skills have been passed down across generations. Hospitals also refer patients to them.
Even before I got to the last part of the video, I was saying I wish u can make a video on traditional womb setting. Seems its more popular in Edo state. Also, Cupping therapy by the Northerners. You are doing so well David.
My brother thanks for showing this natural healing medicine from Northern Nigeria. In my town Ohafia before the war we had a man who healed fractured bones in the body as they were showing you but not sure if he passed it on to his children. It's called Igba okpukpu. When Biafra comes, there will be room for traditional medicine again thank God.
I try to follow you whenever I can. I have watched your videos about Ohafia, Umuahia, Yoruba land and the Northern Nigeria programmes. Biko jisie Ike 🎉adalamba. Chukwu Okike Abama Gozie gi mgbenile ma Ndi ulo gi. Iseee Iseee Iseee.
What a great video. It goes to show we don't need a bunch of medicine and technology. All we need is our hands and somewhat common sense.😂😂 I'm glad you were healed. Pray for these gifts and god can pass them on to you and your children, they were already in your mother.
The African Traditional approach came first, it is the *original, conventional medicine.* The Western approach is *NOT* the conventional medicine, but the *alternative medicine* , simply because it came into existence *after* the African medicine.
l use traditional medicine to treat my broken hand, but hospital wanted to put iron on my hand and my papa refuse and go to tradition doctor and my hand is good, thank you boss for the nice video
Hello David, I am in Italy and I follow your videos religiously especially the journey to the far we're to meet the people who had no contact with the modern world. I am a doctor and I have kidney problems and under dialysis for the past 5yrs.Can I ask you a favor, if through you traveling you know of someone who can help cure my problem, I will be more than happy. Thanks
@@dennisnjinyam Sorry to hear about your health challenges. Am sure there is traditional cure out there, however you will still have to come over physically to try an recommended medication
I know of a man who uses leaves and herbs to cure people of various sicknesses. He is a very good, though he doesn't do it as a business but on personal arrangement. He has treated alot of people.
I cant believe you went through that with your leg, cos my goodness you can trekk!!even me self wish you had information from your parents but we want to meet Uncle. Those men dont want the purification of the processes to be lost by sharing outside but they can work in hospitals, they wont get shut out. Very knowledgeable
There's a chronic problem we are experiencing as regards transfer of knowledge. It is too bad and sad that we hate to teach and share knowledge. Look at the state of a place excellent at repairing bones and treating conditions incurable by orthodox medicine. That place could have been well equipped and funded only if they choose to share the knowledge. They can attach conditions which would benefit the lineage of the founding family. What if no one other than the man interviewed is interested in the profession after his death? Many families in Yoruba land have lost talents due to lack of interest in learning a craft considered too archaic. Many of them are living in abject poverty while they could have made a fortune by transforming the business with formal education. May God help our people with this mentality. Thank you David for your enlightenment videos and i hope to make a donation soon. Cheers
You are very apt, and this is so bad, I think it even worse in Igbo land where many people do not have interest to learn old knowledge due to the so called archaic tagging

Thank you for sharing,I so believe in traditional medicine and believe it's ancestral, before a virus hits our country I would dream of the herbs to use, unfortunately people prefer to buy drugs rather than use what's God given, when they ask me where I get my knowledge of the herbs from I proudly tell them it is in my lineage as an igbo descendan, I did not go anywhere to learn, it comes naturally, when the pandemic hit many people came to my house for herbs to use and I was happy to help.they took us away from our from our mother land erased our language, our culture, our heritage but DNA will prove that they could never erase our lineage. We will always be the prodigal son's and daughter's of Africa
Excellent interview. However I am disappointed that the 'doctor' is very unwilling to share knowledge except with members of his extended family just to maintain monopoly. That has been the bane of African traditional medicine and why there's lack of knowledge transfer. We can not develop without documentation and transfer of knowledge and skills.
May my ancestors protect over my Nigerian people ❤🇭🇹🇳🇬 love from Haitian American
It 100% works. The bone in my left knee was dealt with traditionally.
Please, where did you fix it.
This video is timely. I’m dealing with back pain.

There is still alot of people doing that in Ohafia and other Igbo at the moment.
The truth is that Western people actually learned from Africa.

Correct. Because you have to ask yourself, people lived before hospital, alot happened, they cured diseases of all kind, and even spiritually....
