Next year will be very busy for you two! Looking forward to the videos. I've heard Levi say I'm not a very good welder, I disagree the welds look professional! Happy Holidays and many blessings to y'all😊
Looking at your water collection and the water around it shows that a roof over those containers would give you a substantial amount more if you needed it.
Because we are in a cold climate, we need to have the storage tanks open to absorb the heat from the sunshine. It helps keep the water from freezing over. The tanks are almost full with just the barn on the system. We are thinking we should have went bigger with the tanks lol!
Christmas greetings from Bangalore. Have been watching you guys since you poured concrete for the container barn. Love the channel. Looking forward to the house build in 2025
Here in Netherland today is it day ten without sun. But it is cosy in my house with the Christmasstree's and candellight. I wish you warm cosy Christmas. Stay safe and healthy.
@bettybanis3202 10 days without sun is definitely rough! I bet your house is SO cozy with the tree 🎄and candlelight 🕯️☺️ We wish you a very Merry Christmas 🫶🏼 ~T
As with so many jobs by the DIYer just as you are finishing up your project and the learning curve has been "mastered" you have knocked all of the kinks out.... Well yeah NOW you are DONE. Maybe the two of you could go on the road and be professional solar installers...Just kidding. Stay home and finish your homestead. As always great work. Remember to stay safe and satay warm. MERRY CHRISTMAS.
I was trying to explain to my 5 year-old about the beauty of our freezing fog In Ohio just his morning. His major complaint was "But dada, it's cold, and that is not beautiful." He is my forever frozen child LOL.
Total pro job on the install. Glad you added extra bracing. The one thing I was concerned about is how well everything will hold up in the wind. How do you insure the solar array against wind damage?
I have been watching you guys build your solar arrays. I think your upright posts are a little weak in design. Mainly where all the stress from wind load may cause them to buckle at the bottom slider. I would seriously consider filling those posts with hydraulic cement to help stiffen them up. Similar to what they do to parking lot bollards.
@@michaelb9827 Thank you for the comment and for following along with the build. That is a great idea. I’m definitely going to figure out how to do that!~L
That Hug at the end was great, its so important to have someone who is there for you and share your goals. 🥰

@joeharwellauthor9317 Thank you. Well we are putting the arrays up to the test today…wind gusts up to 55 mph 😬🫣
@Benthitchfarm I understand. I line in Oklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plain.
