Awesome review! I pre ordered the silver. I first didn't like the design because i knew apple fans were going to hate, but now i really like the design, multiple brands have 'stems'. I'm excited and can't wait to try em out!

My fiancè got the white color Buds 3and I got the silver color Buds 3 Pro on pre-order for $140 after the Buds 2 Pro trade-in, we're excited to try these 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾. I like to see a few more colors like red, blue, and lavender

How is the microphone performance of these buds vs the 2 pro and the latest airpods pro?
I ordered mine last Friday, I like my Pixel Buds Pro a lot, but they just don't stay in they always seem to become loose and fall out. Even after constantly changing the ear tips, so I was done. Sammie giving me $50.00 in trade in, my Military discount and rewards points credit. It brought them down to $163.19 a no brainer.
I didnt see anyone ask this question. Have you tried them for computer gaming or a console. Curious to know how they sound, if for game there is good 3d/spatial sound, and if there is noticeable latency for regular gaming (not esport)

I got mine and used two hours without active noise cancellation. The battery have 34% 😢
You get a better deal by purchasing them on their own if you have an eligible trade in, compared to bundling them with the phone purchase(it won't allow an earbuds trade in). Got mine for $75 by trading in my old Buds Pro. I still have my Buds2 Pro, and look forward to comparing Buds3 Pro to those. I've kept my Buds2 Pro on an older firware, because the newer firmware have messed up the quality of the sound a little on them.

These do look really cool for casual use. Unfortunately for me, I use earbuds mainly for gym workouts and sleeping. I have had a hell of a time with the AirPod stems for both. They just fall or fly out. These DO NOT look comfortable to sleep in😅 The buds 2 pro are so perfect for both scenarios for me. Plus they are my best sounding buds I currently own. I just bought a pair of white buds 2 pro on Amazon prime day to match my new white ultra watch and fold 6! However I’m not knocking anyone who wants these. The lights are cool and being Samsung buds- I know they will sound amazing!

Is the transparency mode as good as the AirPods Pro? I use the AirPods to enhance my hearing but the squeaking drives me crazy. I would also enjoy the longer battery life. Thanks.

I'm actually glad they did the stem, I love my Buds Pro 2 in terms of audio, but call quality and audio recording aren't nearly as good as my Airpod Pros. I'm just not sure how the transparent plastic top will wear.

Biggest issue I'm having is the fitment. Compared to my buds pro 2, I cannot get the left side to stay in my ear no matter which size bud tip I put in. I'm going to give it a few other days but I might have to go back to my pro 2 if this continues
Sadly not every set of earbuds will fit everyone correctly with the generic ear tips. You can look into aftermarket ear tips for more sizes. I have done this with a few different earbuds before to get the right fit and sound experience.
What's driving me nuts is that my right ear fits perfect, even when I do the earbud fit test I get a poor fitment on the left side. I noticed that they have little notches on the earbuds now so the aftermarkets are going to have to be pretty precise. Maybe if comply foam makes one I'll do that but again paying another $20 for them is n't a lot of fun@@TechOdyssey

How does it work with Pixel phones? I currently use airpod pros with my P8P but features are very limited.. would these be any better? Would I be able to change touch controls, see the battery percentage, use Google Assistant, etc?

We are missing out on the translation mode as well as the advanced features like 360 mode. Not sure why they're doing that, seems like it's a software feature not a hardware feature. I do have the Samsung tablet that I've tried it with and it's a pretty significant feature. Unfortunately on my pixel 8 pro I can't take advantage of it
It's safe to say that if you're a fan or enjoy the Air Pods Pro, you'll feel the same about the Buds 3 Pro which is why i've pre-ordered a pair.

Just ore orfered these and with 100 trade in and military discount you can get them for 87 bucks and the non pro version is like 57ish i think awesone deal.
Do you know, or can you tell, whether the silver color is in the plastic, or is it a painted exterior?
Im curious to find out, because i think in therms of longevity and durability, the silver exterior wearing off would be a deal breaker for me. And certainly less noticeable on the white.

Do they stay in your ear well? I have the Buds Pro1 and they always slip out, especially when smiling or moving. Ive tried all the tip sizes and even paid $30 for foam tips, nothing works. Hoping the Pro3s don't have that issue.

I just want them to stay in my ears while I'm in the weight room. I've been using the buds pro for a while now, and I've built a habit of pushing them into my ears before each set because they always try to fall out of my small ears.
These seem to fit pretty securely. I don’t know how secure in an exercise environment but they seem like they’ll work as well or maybe a little better than any other top earbuds brand
@@TechOdyssey they should definitely fit better. The buds pro have almost no stem to actually go into my ear. I had to buy special ear tips that did help them stay in a little better. If these stay in my ear at all, they'll be a huge upgrade.
I think the Buds FE are best for the gym, because of the wing tips they stay put extremely well while active

voice control is cool, but you open yourself up to anyone around you saying volume up/down and other lines. On paper, cool. In practice... disabled.
I also pre-ordered. Hopefully they can actually sit in my ear without falling out. Really disappointed with the fitment of the buds 2 pro, they constantly need readjusting and always falling out.

Thanks for the great review. Just ordered mine as well and was great to get $100 credit for trading in my old original Buds Pro. Those were actually causing ear infections (there was a class action lawsuit about it). I'm most excited to test the interpreter function as I do help out elderly that speak a variety of languages.

How is the in call background noise for the person on the other end of a call? The Airpod Pros have terrible background noise that gets picked up during calls and I was hoping these would be better

Great review, straight to the point thank you.. So i actually have a few days left to return my buds2 pro, 60 days from total tech. I'm starting to be convinced to go with the 3 pro instead, would you recommend returning the 2 pro, I'll get $160, so about $100 to get the 3 pro. And my only other issue, I'm still on a S22 Plus, from what I've read i should still be able to take advantage of pretty much all the new features? That was mainly my hesitation to stay with the 2 pro for now until i upgrade my phone but that won't be till next year at least... take care
