I love this conrad so much more than the books. If I remember correctly the book Conrad never had this conversation with her. This one has more emotion too. Chris is just a great actor. I hope the third season is just as great as the first two.

Conrad found out that Jere cheated on Belly at his bachelor party and he tells Belly at the beach. But she already knows. This angers Conrad and they argue but he apologizes and asks her why she wants to marry Jere at all. Why can't she just live with him. She doesn't answer and starts to walk away. That is when Conrad wraps his arm around her and begs her to let him speak to her and he admits that he loves her. She says that he only loves her now because she's getting married and he says that's not true. He's always loved her. He only broke up with her because he thought that Jere could love her and treat her better and that he was so angry after his mom died.

@@ilovewriting4692 damn i just finished reading it, that part was a highlight for sure.
I just wish we could have seen more of the moments and interactions leading up to their wedding at the end, or even just engagement. Honestly, i have no idea how they're going to cram it all in one season.
