- Building and riding my new Scott eRIDE Ransom. This thing is like a mountain bike in steroids. 180mm (not 170mm) downhill/ freeride beast. As the winter months creep in its time to get the ebikes prepped for the mud and slop. This is Scotts newest bike in the range. Its a long travel electric enduro bike, its the ultimate do it all machine.n
As always we needed the assistance of MB Cyclery so we whipped down and got in the way for a few hours while Ben built this insane bike. Big thanks to those guys for always going far and beyond what they need to, new custom stickers flashy matching bolts and pins this thing is pimped out to the max.
With the bike built it was time to shred. I actually felt bad riding this thing straight out the workshop in the the mud and slop of the Surrey Hillls finest trails. She's no longer a new shiny MTB. shame!!

Hope you guys liked the video, this thing is defiantly going to become my winter workhorse with the rain and cold settling in soon, there may even be another bike build coming soon but we'll keep that a secret for the moment.

*Great quality amazing **Latest.Bike** , back brakes needed adjusting. Assembly a little complicated and instructions a little unclear but overall I give the bike 5/5 stars*

I have the 2021 Scott Genius Eride 900 and the creaks are normal when its brand new. Mine broke in after a few rides and the 160mm Rockshock E35 forks perform really good. I was going to upgrade the forks but the really perform better than expected. The Bosh CX4 motor with the 625w battery works really good too. I love Scotts Eride bikes!!!

I really don't understand why some people find their adrenalin in reckless situations. And i don't think ebikes are good for jumps because of their low center of gravity, but because a heavier bike moves the center of gravity of the rider/bike tandem lower. ...
