I struggle turning on my ebike and slow jumps, the rest it´s superb, for fast DH runs and big jumps it is sooo stable that horses try to get inside it every night. Amazing video and riding as always!:)
great that you can get stoked to ride it with the speed restriction still on, I de-restricted all mine straight away - so annoying when the power cuts off at low speed.
So, from what I gather... the E-bike is great for most things except steep downhill. Basically the only time you wouldn't be needing an E-bike is IF you're only going downhill so basically they're just great bikes 🤷♂️
I've always thought a bike is almost the perfect marriage of man and machine adding a bunch of battery chemicals and a motor seems like a step backwards, but I admit they are good fun
Hi Brendan, have the Genius eRide 920, pimped with Zee Breaks and, of course, Brendog Death Grips. Please tell us, how much SAG do you ride front/back. Im struggling a little bit with the suggested numbers. Great hacks btw. Where can we get the controller?
I was eyeing that line up that starts at 11mins yesterday and said to my self that has to be a rampage practice line, glad I chickened out it would have ended in tears for sure 😂
Pilgs moved his controller ages ago down onto his top tube so he could do bar spins and tail whips etc,now yours is moved Bren you should get some bar spins done etc fella!!??!👍🏻👍🏻😂😂😂🙈🔥🔥🙏🏻
Hey Brendan, great video again!, I own the e-genius 910 as well, fantastic bike anyways! But I am struggling to setup my suspension correctly. I wonder how you would compare the differences in setting up suspension on this (heavy) e-bike, compared to a regular fully. Thanks in advance!
@@Johanbeerden there is really no other way.. it wont matter what settings a pro rides.. Sag, every knob to the middle position and start the work :D you have an e bike, easy ride that one trail 20 times and dial it...
I think a ebike isnt a hindering factor if you yourself have the strength and technique to do it, but imagine a beginner, on a heavy ebike on a steeper trail... I think something like this is easier with a normal bike
As someone whose not massively into biking yet, following the boys around while filming was so much fun and being able to keep up with them up and downhill was wicked
It doesn't matter what bike you have, if you're not comfortable on it, you're not gonna do steep stuff... light or not. If you do, you're just asking for a hospital visit.. haha
Need the audio levels consistant through the entire video and adjust your exposure on that camera it is super dark. At least the riding makes up for it.
Ok great,Im sold, have been for a few years now,NOW just make them cheaper than a couple of grand cos im never gonna be able to have one otherwise,50 and been riding and working all my life but still skint.
I dunno. I've never felt like pedaling a bike up a mountain was a problem that needed fixing. If you're capable of pedaling then why add like 20 pounds of electric crap to the bike to make it less enjoyable when cornering, climbing, or jumping. This would be like selling me some cumbersome expensive mechanical legs to strap onto my legs, so I can go for a hike without needing to use my legs much. Like why...? Anyway I think they're trying to sell these to the wrong crowd. Emtb is for older folks with bad knees or someone who is trying to get fitter and couldn't ride otherwise. But all the mountain bike TH-camrs are being encouraged through sponsorship to make it seem like having an "eeb" in the stable is perfectly normal. None of my business though, just an opinion.
I kinda feel that if your into more DH style riding then it’s a great way to get twice as many runs and not have to uplift. I don’t really think it’s directly comparable to a normal bike but fits a niche like DH bikes
I get three to four as many dh runs in the hour I have to ride twice/week. So, if you're a dh'er, or just enjoy your descending more than climbing, ebikes are awesome.
Well Brendan on any bike is good, let's be honest
"Ya just gotta turn it on, and leave it in turbo the whole time anyway"..... I couldn't agree more.
you should get a clip on mic so the sound is a more consistent volume
The view from last run , totaly nuts , e bikes definatley bomb on steep stuff ...
I struggle turning on my ebike and slow jumps, the rest it´s superb, for fast DH runs and big jumps it is sooo stable that horses try to get inside it every night. Amazing video and riding as always!:)
nice job, love the editing skills!
I love that your rampage bike is displayed in the shop.
Ah those ebike creeks and groans from the overall build. Mine was a tinker for those noises.
Sick the novas is one of our faves 🤟👍

absolute banger, love the variety of content, keep it going big man🔥🔥🔥
Best stuff as always
Sick video! But your voice is so quiet compared to your music so I turn it up to hear you then boom music drops and the mrs is awake 🤣🤣
cool to see
I am already addicted and converted to my turbo levo had sentinel and wolf ridge pro gone turbo all the way .Too much fun
Last run 😱 Ebike 💪

Been spending too much time with that ebike enthusiast and fellow Monster athlete Pils 😉
Video needs to be named ‘what can I do on an EBIKE’ 😂😂, rad
A good honest option of an e bike
Well most riders are not going to drop off of 20 foot cliffs.in the Woods so it sounds like it all good
E-Bike Gum that was a good video!...... I'll get me coat
I would love to see a tutorial of moving that display down to the bottle holder 🤔
I love the intro
Is ben from South Africa? Coming from there myself it sounds like it.
Bren lad you would send a penny farthing ha 🚲🤙
Where are these trails? Cheers
I love sam pilgrim ❤❤
You have some of the best whips I’ve ever seen can you ever post video tips for whips
Next years rampage: brendan fairclough on a ebike doing his crazy backflip
I've always thought a bike is almost the perfect marriage of man and machine adding a bunch of battery chemicals and a motor seems like a step backwards, but I admit they are good fun
For me it's an energy and resources thing, if everyone had one one of there and no cars that would work for me
if you don't mind me asking - what your combined weight with bike and rider approximately?
I'm about 95kg and my ebike is 25kg. So 120kg ish!
Would u do red bull hardline on the bike 👌👌👌👌🤘 swell vid

olie spink where is this
Miles Surrey hills
@@oliespink9940 where in Surrey Hills, its a rather large place
What is the song? 3:38
I'll never understand why the music volume is so loud compared to the rest of the video volume
im just not ready for a 'mobility' bike yet
What tyre set up was on the bike.
The only downside to ebikes is when you have to recharge them ! Guess you got to sleep sometimes
I wish they had a push button to get speed between jumps where a few pedals aren’t likely.

I’ve given that redbull rampage drop a go🤣
How did it go, I chickened out yesterday.
olie spink The drops are crazy, but the speed you get into the berm and the step up at the end is actually ridiculous.
Bren where is this? Looks wicked 👍
Surrey hills
Would like to see a deristricted ride vid.
For a minute I thought your photoman was a special guest...he looks a lot like a certain American slope style rider.

set sag and then adjust on the trail...
@@lemimsey3797 probably best to do it like that indeed. I hoped for a more standard way, but this will allow me to go full out on the settings.

Ahhhh where is the shop located i need to get that trash bin
Thank you soooo much for this Video!!!
Gotta admit they have an appeal for repeats, but as a mostly hardtail rider I think the faff factor is too much of a leap for me at the moment.
Excellent riding Brendog.
What woods are you riding?
Are they near the tunnel 😉
I got myself a mondraker chaser 2022, and im scared it will break if i make a jump D:
Frankenstein extrem Geo Mullet Bike 😄😁🤣
Real question is lets see u do an actually rampage run on the Ebike
Mike is still about haha his mum used to cut my hair! When I was a kid

‘Just Roll it’’ Brendon...
Just saying, I coukdve done with those brakes🤣
Emtb's are the best
I could have used those old
brakes
How can you ride an e bike like 8 kilograms trial bike ??!
Don't you love internal cable routing... Needing a cytech level 3 and a whole morning to change your brakes over
Wow.

Music comes on .... fuck ! I’m deaf 😂🤙
Anyone sad when he threw away the brakes, like I could do with some freshies
yeah man, bad sytle, at least leave them in the shop for some grom who's broken a lever
Un crack este wn
Good Vid, but audio all over the place
As hard as you like
If that's 4 foot he must be 7ft
I’ll buy an e-bike... when im 60
Il be riding past you uphill for a good while then
@@camnationm8 And i'll be having more fun, getting fitter, having the bike feel aaand riding past you on the descends.
Humberto Bizzotto doubt it lol

Let’s ban wireless dropper posts! Seriously ebikes open up new ways to ride albeit with drawbacks but pros outweigh the cons.
Music is way too loud

Get a mic. Your video sound quality is all over the place
E bikes aren’t bikes. No better. No worst. Just another business.
What an ignorant comment mate.
They definitely are bikes. Clue is in the name.
GrizzlyAaron That’s your opinión. Maybe you’re an e-gnorant. 🤷🏻♂️
So e bikes are cool if you’ve spent decades developing effortless style and world class speed and skills?
Otherwise... they’re shit aren’t they.
E-bikes e-bikes e-bikes! The MTB pros are all obeying their masters and pushing e-bikes. Sickening. 🤮
Mario I’m glad you see things my way.

Hey Brendon is that the genius e-ride?
