The man was forced into a quaint place he’d never been before while being eaten alive by his conscience every second he was there until an attempted suicide. Of course he’s not going to particularly enjoy the place he was sent after carrying the weight of child murder. Especially not without having any positive association to bruges beforehand.
Insane film. Colin Ferrell looks good saying any wacky line. He is a comic at heart, but his intensity and handsome face makes him appealing to us, the public.

The whole cast were perfect in this, when it came out I didn't think it was going to be up there with all my top films, but it was a film you'll never forget.

And then funnily enough Farrell plays an Irishman that can distinguish between Japanese and Chinese culture in Seven Psychopaths. I can see Martin McDonagh totally doing that on purpose.
This movie is an absolute masterpiece. I don't know anything about film but even I know that the juxtaposition of the incredible cinematography with the absurd story is a once in a lifetime work of art.
What am I saying? You are just a bunch of elephants? Starts running to prove. This movie is funny and sad at the same time. Masterpiece that needs to be saved even if there is an apocalypse. It was like Leornado Da Vince's painting. Mozart's symphony.
This movie confused me, cos it was hilarious. It's a pair of assassins talking about some dark stuff and one of them is suicidal from accidentally killing a kid, and I couldn't stop laughing.
a dream sequence with midgets, hmmm.... a homage to steve buscemi's Living in Oblivion ? " no midgets in dreams, you dream about people you know, unless you happen to know a small person..... tribute to and David Lynch ...
This is a really well written film, truly underrated. @7:20 the set up about something coming at him with a bottle. Which led to the girl trying to hit him with one at the restaurant. Films now have to be careful what they write and show because of possible backlash from you know what.
Sorry, I know this is my second comment on this video but this movie is criminally underappreciated. I just don't understand how this flew under most peoples' radars when it was one of the best movies ever made. Is there some subtlety to is that might be lost on most? Genuine question...
