A Walk Through Munich’s Center - Part II (Viktualienmarkt, Marienplatz)

Munich's central pedestrian zone and most prominent shopping mile is made up of two huge streets, Kaufingerstraße and Neuhauser Straße, which flow into one another and attract both Munich residents and tourists to go shopping.
There are also impressions of the Marienplatz. Since Henry the Lion founded Munich in 1158, Marienplatz has been its heart. It's been the hub of Munich's life for centuries, where all the city's main streets met.
I'm also walking through the Viktualienmarkt, a food market and square. It started in 1807 and developed from an original farmers' market to a popular market for gourmets.
