- I can’t sleep at night because I think often about Hasbro’s Shrek 2 Action Figure line from 2004 and why it didn’t have a figure of Fiona in her Orge form. Or….did it??? Put on your sleuthing caps because today we’re looking at some Shrek Lost Media. Because the puppet made me do it.

Great catch!!! Also hilarious because Small Soldiers was a Dreamworks film. Maybe Shrek and Archer are best buds and share guns?? 😂 Stuff like this totally makes my day.

I always thought ogre Fiona was beautiful from her pretty face to her figure i just loved everything about her so it’s sad that we didn’t really get any figures of her in her ogre form. I would’ve loved to see a mcfarlane ogre fiona from the shrek 1 wave it would’ve been highly detailed and awesome
I can’t believe we got FOUR Shrek movies and not a single one made her as a figure. It’s so odd.

This was a very fun video. To be honest, I think you should have asked the original seller. Most of the time sellers of rare figures( especially prototypes if the theory holds true) tend to be workers from the factory and very down to earth. If you tell them that your inquiry is purely for perservation or documentation purposess they will tend to just answer your question. Plus if you feel weird about asking them, without giving them anything you can purchase some of their wares has a thank you.
That usually is the case. I also covered an unproduced plush of Minerva Mink from the Animaniacs, and with that one the seller was indeed getting lots of prototype factory samples. However, with this one I remember the figure being sold by an antique mall's Ebay store, so there's really no telling where it came from. The seller had other toys but nothing else suspiciously prototype-y. Sadly I missed this auction, it ended a while ago. Someday I hope another one surfaces and concludes this mystery.

It’s so strange you found this. I swear I did an extensive research on a possible unproduced shrek 2 ogre fiona figure by hasbro a year ago and found absolutely nothing.
@@Legooofan I always thought it was strange she wasn’t in the line. Also missing is Prince Charming. Pretty odd considering he’s the villain. (Plus he’s a knight with a sword…which would have sold well in the toy aisle regardless of the character.) I definitely think Hasbro had bigger plans for this line.
There some even rarer and more obscure Dreamworks figures too. I’ll likely make a video on them but Hasbro made a VERY limited line of Shark Tale figures and even rarer than that is a line of nearly-unproduced Over the Hedge action figures.

It’s also funny because last year I planned on getting a second fiona to repaint her with a pearly white paint and decided to photoshop a picture of her in the blister to see how it looked, and now I see that “official” fiona which basically looks the same and I’m like woahh! I think we can only look up who the lead designer of this line was and try to get some information 😆
@@Legooofan I’ve tried to look up some information on this line but so far have had no luck. Hasbro didn’t even bother bringing any Shrek product to Toy Fair ‘04 or ‘05 which shows how little confidence they had in the line.

I had the Fiona from the first film her leg kicked sideways, I can't remember what else came with her maybe the exploding bird? I remember her dress lower half was rubber and a slit in the side for her kicking action
I believe she came with her fried rat on a stick. That was the McFarlane Toys Fiona release. Really lovely sculpt on that figure! The Hasbro one interestingly enough has the exact same kicking feature, except with a cloth dress. Seems toy designers liked Fiona kicking.

Absolutely 😉 Shrek Forever had some very strange and rare merch. I just learned there was a plush set including plush of Warrior Fiona and Rumplestiltskin. Me want! (But alas, expensive! 😔)
