Hey guys! Erik here. A lot of folks are saying Deadpool's ash-covered suit in the Essex House sequence is a reference to the grey, X-Force version of his uniform. I thought that too when the trailer came out, but now, I'm not so sure it was intended to be a reference. Deadpool calls everything else out -- you think he would have said something there! Also, yes, my bad, that was Deadpool's belt in the opening scene, not an inhibitor collar. SO MANY ACCESSORIES! I'M BLINDED BY THE POUCHES!
Unless I'm mistaken, Wade does make a comment about the coloring of the suit in the movie! I can't remember the line specifically, since I've only seen the movie once so far, but I do distinctly remember some comment to that affect.
I found another little easter egg from Ryan Reynolds life. When Wade and Venessa are talking about the names for their child they say Connor. Connor is actually a young boy from Edmonton that loved Deadpool. They were brought together by Make-A-Wish foundation. He unfortunately died at age 13. It's just a really nice little nod toward him. That great!!! Nice job...and I also was gonna comment those exact 2 things I thought u missed...and out his ash grey x force suit..and the belt thingy...but u called urself out on it!! So nice job all around..very good job!! But I do thing the Ash suit is a nod to the gray Deadpool weather or not he doesn't call it out...in my opinion...anyway!! Lol..loved the video tho!!

"死侍" is the Chinese name for Deadpool, and "死" is the Chinese character for "death" or "dead", but "侍" doesn't mean "pool". It means "serve" in Chinese -- which got loaned into Japanese as "samurai". So "死侍" is a half-Chinese pun, referring to Deadpool as a dead samurai.

Watch how when he reaches deaths door vanessa always appears (similar to Mistress Death in the comic) and his healing factor always yanks him back to life...

2:01 the left Chinese character translates to dead/death or equivalents. The second character however translates to Samurai in Japanese kanji. However the same kanji in Chinese language sounds the same as 池 which translates to pool (water). Death Samurai is what the characters overall mean in Chinese and carries the meaning better.
Notice how bill skårsgard's character accidentally spits acid over peters arm maybe that is a reference to the opening scene of IT

I think I actually prefer Thanos, because Infinity War was mostly about him and did a great job with his character. That said, Cable was a total badass and they did his character justice completely here; Josh Brolin nailed it in both roles, but Thanos was just the bigger character.

Also, Thanos is practically the main character of Infinity War, with a full story arc, backstory, and everything. Whereas Cable is mostly a side character in Deadpool 2 with a minor character arc; I expect to see a proper fleshed out Cable story in the presumably coming X-Force movie.
I wish they would have had warpath because he is truly a bad ass.i know he played in days of future past[for 5 minutes] but to have a big part and being a native American would be great.to me he is the strongest of the crew in x-factor.
There was a Up reference, where Russel used “caw caw” as his signal with the juggernaut. Same caw signal the character Russel used in the animated film Up.

In fact, the story arc is very similar to Up, a widower who goes in a journey with a fat kid named Russell in order to learn how to live with the grief of his beloved wife's death. Terminator + Looper + Up = Deadpool 2.

Holy crap, you're right! Didn't crosswinds play a role in Up, as well? It's been a while for me, but I seem to remember the reason Russell and Carl had to trek through the jungle in the first place was because crosswinds pushed the house off course and on the other side of Paradise Falls.

No he says it right near the end of this video but he just sort of states it and then moves on and skates by it pretty quickly even though I thought it was one of the funnier references and should have gotten a little more attention then he gave it. Oh well. But yes he does state this in this video somewhere in the last few minutes of this video.

I mean it's not confirmed but it feels a lot like they saw all the fan theories based on how Vanessa becoming Lady Death and decided to do something with it.
I actually have a theory that Vanessa is the limbo scenes (the mystic line between life, death, magic, and judgment) is actually Mistress Death in disguise.

I’ve been anticipating Infinity War for so long, but I really enjoyed Deadpool 2 and even saw it three times. Cable was such a tease, and I enjoyed his on screen performance even more than Thanos.

Josh Brolin is the best for Cable, and Thanos. Josh Brolin may not be as tall as comics Cable, but huge buff old dudes only fall down to Sylvester Stallone or Dolph Lundgren, both of which have weird accents, and subpar acting. Brolin acts better by a bit.
Also Deadpool coming out of the coffin is reminiscent of that Hitman game

The song is from a SRK movie called "Swades". And the song is about a traveller who is looking for his destination!!!

That wasn't "a cover by Lars Horntveth", that was A-ha performing their own song. Lars Horntveth helped with the arrangement and did some of the backing instruments.
I think Josh Brolin did better as Thanos. Not to say him playing Cable was a bad casting I don't think the studio could have cast someone better(unless they de-age Arnold Schwarzenegger and just made this completely a remake of Terminator). But after Infinity War I went back to read some of the best comics with Thanos and I could literally hear Josh Brolin in my head saying those lines.

Of the two Josh Brolin roles, I definitely prefer Cable to Thanos -- it's kinda hard to appreciate the acting when it's covered by CGI. Besides, I simply like Cable better, and Brolin portrayed him well.

The fact that Juggernaut is still alive is referenced in the dialog just before they leave by Colossus. " we should leave before f*** them up gets up" or something to that effect. I noticed it the first time watching because of this line.

I liked it better than the original Deadpool. I think the first one suffered from a bit of overhype. This one was aided by a little nitpicking from early reviews, and overall being a bigger movie with more character and just a splash of heart.
And a much larger budget and longer production time made it a bit less challenging and of course, Deadpool possessing Ryan Reynolds' body for the last like 12 years doesn't hurt
