This video was a lot of fun, although I will say that in my opinion, Shiori is the real winner of Hayai Hashi since in my opinion Emma and Natasha cheated because they should have done one rice grain at a time and should be disqualified and that the rules of that challenge should have been made much clearer.
If you thought hip dash was ridiculous wait until you see the upcoming “dance game” in the next episode. It’s like something out of Stephen King’s imagination.
Dont hold back on your commentary Chris! Please tell us what you really think 😂 also I want to see you do each of these games. I say this is tokyo creative so being creative with your method makes you a winner. Nothing wrong with tilting the bowl! We all know that's how you generally get rice in your mouth with chopsticks anyways!
Just so that there isn't any "debatable" techniques in the future, I think Chris should record a demonstration video for the contestants to show how the task should be solved. Not because I want to see Chris suffer but it's merely for the sake of the rules... Yeah... That's the whole reason behind it...

American judge here, I gave it a 9 for effort, 8 for artistry, 8 for technique, and well, only a 6 for execution because of not finishing. That's a 31/40. But since you have that Canadian spirit of fair play, kindness, and a smile on your face I awarded a score of 9 for "intangibles" which gives you 40/40. Yep, by my count, you won.
Sharla deserves to win the rice picking game. She's the only one who picked each rice grain individually, instead of pilling a whole load of them in one go
I feel like the rice thing is considerably easier from a bowl full of rice than from a plate with a single layer, so I feel like Sharla's the real winner.

Natasha was really smart scooping from a small bowl in to a big container, less time searching for rice in big container, and less precision needed for letting go of the rice in to a small bowl.

one of the greatest videos I have ever seen on this channel my eyes were literally glued to the screen I have never been so enthralled it was like watching the real Olympics normally I scroll through the comments or look for other videos that are being suggested while watching but not this time I just could not look away it was way too interesting I hope there is more
