Dr. Hale, thank you so much for making this video. Your videos are amazing. I use them daily as personal vocal warm up and for our choir as well. God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much for this lesson, Dr. Hale! I did this exercise on the day I was to sing the cantor part and I did well! I felt relaxed and my voice was resonating.
Thank You, Dr. Hale for this helpful video, for my home singing practice!! I enjoy them all, thank you so much!! Cheers, from Rotterdam The Netherlands. Ivanisha.
Hello doctor! Thanks for your videos, they have been a huge help for me, I am a singer and dubbing actress, but now I teach to help vocalize my students for singing and acting so they get and keep a healthy voice. I don’t know music by notes, but my hearing is real good, I took singin lessons for 15 years with an opera teacher, and many concepts and advices you say, I say to my students. THANK YOU SO MUCH AND CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ARE THE BEST‼️‼️‼️🌟🌟🌟
Dr Roger hale, please upload a vedio how to read and develop sight reading on piano. Your vedio are so interesting and useful. Thanks for new ideas that you're shared ❤️❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯💯🎶🎶🎶🎶
Thank you so much for sharing your knowlwdge, skills and expertise. If possible to ask sheet music for this vocal exercise. Thanks a lot. God bless you more.
I think it's the opposite. The ng lowers the soft palate and nasalises the sound. In fact if you sing ng and pinch your noise the sound immediately stops.
@@RogerHale Many thanks Dr Roger. I am part of a Choral Academy, the Stefano Tempia of Turin. I have followed the videos on voice heating with great interest and many exercises are similar to those we do here in Italy. All this is beautiful. Thanks again and best wishes for your work. This is great! I have some questions about auditions at DSU, but haven't been able to get ahold of you by email. Is there any way you can please help me out?
how do I fix the kratze Stimme in the upper range....I am a Dramatic coloratura......my money notes are in the stratussphere......voice therapist suggested Smart Water....not that impressed......clearly this is a post nasaldrip issue...
Professor,During the warm up,What can I do if I cannot sing so high.I don't think I can hit the A flat,If I trying to hit the A flat, it's almost like Shouting, It sounds not very beautiful.I think the G is very difficult for me already. Please give me some tips.Thank you。
Bowen, use this and other vocal exercises over time. Not all people should sing to Ab or even G. Go ahead and drop out when it is too uncomfortable. If you are consistent in your daily warm ups your range will eventually increase.

Very interesting but the note higher i d'not try to excute well. Thank you
@Lorenzo Dettoni, I agree those high notes are difficult, but they do help build the muscle memory and feeling of resonance. Hope you are well! ~Roger
