It's very important for the people to get fast support and help from the authorities and the policy not like at the flood in Germany 2021( Ahr valley and North Rhine Westfalia)! These are horrible pictures!
The response from the Slovenian government and Slovenian people who were not hit by the floods is outstanding. Also, professional teams from all over Europe are helping a lot to clear the damage (German teams have been setting up temporary bridges in the Koroška region 👏). The solidarity Slovenia is receiving from all over Europe (including Ukraine) is overwhelming. THANK YOU!!

The German people in the Ahr valley and North Rhine Westfalia made bad experiences in the year 21 because the bureaucracy and many other things of the government were disappointed and frustrated! After 2 years the people are waiting for financial support from the government and insurances! And the infrastructure isn't properly in many villages and towns!

When the war in Ukraine started, the then Slovenian prime minister was one of the first foreign politicians who visited the Ukrainian government (even before the EU officials did) - Slovenia fully supports Ukraine and Ukraine has sent their help to Slovenia to deal with the floods.
