Imagine being lost in the middle of nowhere for so long, all hope of getting home lost, and then out of nowhere you see this guy calling your name! It must not only be a relief, he becomes an angel for you! Dude, you are amazing. I hope you have a long, healthy and happy life!

This guy is the absolute "Sherlock Holmes" of mountain rescue in this terrain. He is like a Super Sleuth Ranger who just seems to home-in on these missing souls, as if they were transitting some other-worldly beacon that only he can sense. Truly amazing work & skill! And, I'm very happy to see this lost hiker found alive, & rescued without any further harm come to him.

@Jimmie Hoebob They said it twice. And 'like' is an commonly found colloquial quotative. When someone was 'basically like' something, they're cueing you in to the fact that the next thing they say is a general feel of the event, as opposed to a direct verbatim transcribing. There is not another tool in english to perform this task. Don't be a jerk because someone--in the youtube comments section, on a video about saving someone's life-- spoke in a way you didn't like. Keep scrolling. It costs you nothing to not be rude.

I am so appreciative of your amazing methods used to find these people! I think alot of people can learn from you and your groups. Hiking alone is the first mistake many make. I live in the Pacific Northwest in Washington State USA. We have hikers go missing, avalanches in the high mountains....most of these involve solo hikers, solo skiers and a high percentage die! I also appreciate your suggestions you make in making plans that you document and share with others....making sure you are in a visible location to be found....satellite phones are not expensive anymore and people should have them for wilderness adventures. Checking the weather....being prepared with proper gear....a compass, lighter, matches..a light sleeping bag with low temp rating....a tent....dry dehydrated foods...water and water filter of some kind. They make these all very light.... sticking to trails well established! So many things to prevent tragedy.

However, I never underestimate nature and do not take too many risks but there have still been a few times where I got close to getting into a bad situation. Obviously hiking isn't for everyone but it's not like it's significantly more dangerous than various other activities if you're mindful about it. And these forests/mountains in Taiwan are potentially some of the most dangerous in the world so it's not necessarily as bad in other places.

    我很感動,在台灣這塊土地上有你的護佑,每每遇有山難搜尋總有你的身影,所謂生要見人,死要見屍…不論結果如何家屬都會感激你的。

I had to cry watching this. It's just beautiful this moment. You are a true hero and I love your channel. I hope hikers will give more awareness to the dangers of mother nature and less people get lost or die...

Sir, you have a huge heart and a hero. Whether you find them alive or moved on you bring much needed relief to families. My hubby hikes every weekend. He uses the Garmin Mini, researches trails, gets the offline maps, sends me trail info, and I also have him check in every hour. Stay safe out there.

Just found your channel and have been watching a lot of your videos. Each time that it is a loss, there is a sad silent sort of emotion I feel but watching this one, I felt my eyes water and my heart felt so happy to see him alive and okay, he gets to go on and live his life and that is such a gift. You’re amazing! Thank you for bringing us all on the journey with you! Cheers!

Humans can be truly beautiful. From this man risking himself and use his expertise to quickly search, to the SAR teams that do the same, to the pilots that bring a helicopter to deliver him to safety. Truly beautiful.

You are a very tough guy to go through these gigantic mountains to look for lost hikers, riders and what a gift to be able to save the people you have saved. Even bringing closure to the families that hardly get any help in such rural areas of such high altitudes. God bless you and I wish you much more success in the future endeavors.💚🙏✌️🤙

If you like this type of 'finding lost people' content, Heavy D Spark and Adventures With Purpose could also be your thing. HDS helps with cases occasionally, with big machinery, and AWP are a dive team that look for people lost to rivers in their cars. They are also admirable people, and I've been binging content like this for maybe 2 days now, with no sign of stopping!
