Always loved the long pauses Frank took. He would make the first part of the joke and let us laugh at where we thought it might go. Right when we start to catch our breath he hits us with the punchline and off we go again!

It doesn't get a huge laugh in the show, but Marie's "I don't like that" is, to me, the funniest part of this scene. Immediate and totally in-character, and all-too reminiscent of my own family...
During my first marriage my sister-in-law had hers done She was 22 at the time and I knew that she had surgery but I didn't ask a whole lot of questions. She was in her room at her mom called her to come out. She was wearing a very large oversized t-shirt she says why don't you show your brother-in-law your new ones. So she lifted up her oversized shirt and there she was bare-breasted. Honestly the first thing they went through my mind is what kind of parents do these kids have that encourage their daughters to expose themselves even if it is to family members it's still wrong.
They don't really do sitcoms anymore. They seem to have gone out of fashion, especially ones about families. Good news is, fashions always have a way of coming back.
Like so many episodes of ELR, this episode starts as a straight comedy, but it turns surprisingly serious at the end when Ray and Debra discuss their own body images (especially Debra's insecurities about her body after having kids). Very, very few sitcoms could balance the laughs and serious emotion like that, but ELR did it quite often.

Debra is so fresh and beautiful and her smile and eyes are amazing! I love this show!

Ray and that "thousand yard stare" careful not to make contact with the "enhancements".
