The member who you asked about in the beginning that shifted to the vocals is named Seungmin. He is one of the main vocalists of the group. That said, all 8 members can rap, sing, and dance well. They are a group of all rounders and they make their own beats as well. Stray Kids have a close relationship with Ateez and the fan bases like to say that we are married. 3Racha - Stray Kids' main writing and production unit, consisting of Bang Chan (the leader of Stray Kids), Changbin and Han
They formed as a rap group before Stray Kids formed, and wrote and produced their own music. When the final members for Stray Kids were chosen, 3Racha was absorbed into the group. They write and produce the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. But all 8 members have written music for the group.

Stray Kids are known for their hype songs. They're straight fire. They have over 40 genres of music. All written and produced by them. They're outside of Kpop for me. They're their own thing completely.
I LOVE that Seungmin caught your eye. That man deserves more attention. Felix (blue hair) is my bias, but Seungmin's voice makes me cry. 🥲

They span a large variety of genres.

One thing to remember when watching their MVs, most of them are related in a series of storyline “chapters” that have been in play since their pre-debut in 2017. The videos are cool on their own, but make WAY more sense when you study the MVs for their discography.
They are eclectic, in that they span MANY different genres usually even on the same album. There’s usually something for everyone.

Stray Kids are the best! They all dance, sing & rap. They produce their own music (mostly 3 of the members). I would recommend Thunderous, Easy, God’s Menu, Back Door, Maniac, Venom…you really cannot go wrong with any of their songs. Also Ateez would be a great group to check out. ❤
Fun fact: Stray Kids and Ateez are friends, and support each other’s careers. They appeared on the Battle of the bands show Kingdom: Legendary War together.

These guys are the real deal!!! Stray Kids are incredible and are known to have their own genre of music because of how dynamic and unique their range of sound is. Their discography ranges from rock to pop to hip hop to beautiful ballads and more, all while putting their own twist to the each genres sound. They also write, compose, and produce 99.8% of their music. They all sing, dance, and rap, and almost all of them play at least one instrument. They are also iconic for the duality of their personalities. They can go from being intense, macho, and slick to playful, hilarious, and chaotic. Definitely give off family vibes -so wholesome! ☺️
Anyway, other songs to check out from them are GODS MENU, BACK DOOR (chronologically comes after GODS MENU), VENOM, FREEZE, THOUNDEROUS, ITEM, and S-CLASS (title track the just won a VMA this year!)
I would also strongly recommend breaking down the lyrics because it not only gives context to the music video, but also because Stray Kids are phenomenal lyricists! Their songs always have layers of meaning that talk about deep, relatable topics such as mental health, finding ones self, self acceptance, overcoming life’s challenges, forging your own path, and not going along with social norms just because it’s what’s everyone is doing. They also have such a unique play on words I personally haven’t seen anywhere else. You can enjoy their music as a casual listener because, let’s admit it, the music alone is 🔥🔥🔥🔥 But there is so much depth to their music that some people miss. It’s all up to you how deep you want to dive to break it all down. Either way, I hope you enjoy this incredible journey. I promise it’s one you won’t regret!

They are "officially" classified as K-pop, but since they write/produce their own music, they are sometimes more experimental, and use a lot of crossover genres / samples in their music - EDM, trap, hard rock, rap, ballad / choral sections, easy listening, Asian fusion, acoustic guitar, jazz and Latin elements, etc. Their lyrics often times have double meanings when considering their Korean / Japanese / English origins.
Industry and fandom-wide, they're mostly known for their hard songs, but they also have beautiful vocals so their ballads are gorgeous and usually have a lot of deep meaning to them.

I really recommend the rock version of lalalala its legit mindblowing. 3racha, a subunit of straykids produce all of their songs w maybe some collaborators. They also make their own choreos they write their own songs, .... They are so talented. The whole MV has a meaning and some easter eggs like 'joker the dark age' references. Also their lyrical meaning, wordplay and visuals in the mv all have a story. Its in the straykids 'lore' but its too difficult to understand the whole lore. literally every single detail can be a hint for their story but its too much that we sometimes dont even realise it. and besides of all that, they love to be chaotic thats why theyre my fav kpop group. They have their own unique noisy style and can ROCK every single genre ngl. They have opened my eyes n ears to analyse music. thank u for ur reaction once again and hopefully you'll check out some more later. He's the main vocalist of the group (and a hidden ace as he can dance very well, raps extremely well and not related but he even speed read some lines faster than the rappers who are one of the best rappers known in kpop and now is very actively participating in lyrics writing and learning producing, + he also has an extremely wide vocal range as he can do low notes and well as high notes).
He went to Lee mujin's show(which is famous for inviting extremely good vocalists) and he was praised by a lot of non-fans for his heavenly vocals.
He also has sung 2 Kdrama solo ost i.e. Here always and Close to you. And 2 more along with Straykids members i.e. Never-ending story and Hello Stranger (which also are extremely good).
I think Sray Kids are known as aces - the choreo, vocals, rap, dance AND production (they have a production trio who work on every single song they produce)
They’re very performance oriented. They bring so much energy. And they’re also insane rappers. Three out of four are (or were) on the top ten fastest 4th gen male rappers
Han is also my bias. He is extremely intelligent (both musically and in general) exceptionally talented, sensitive, deep, witty, loving, curious, creative, marches to his own beat, etc. His compositions are highly meaningful and emotional. It amazes me that someone so young can create such profound lyrics (eg., "Secret Secret", "Slump" , "Alien", etc. ), his musical and vocal variations (eg., " "Volcano", "Miserable-You and Me, etc ), rapping ability and creative devices (eg., "I Got It, etc.), dancing and singing ability, and stage presence blows me away.
Book comment? I have been summoned. Lol. Welcome to Stray Kids! They are an 8 member group who are self produced. JYPE came up with an idea to let leader Bang Chan handpick a group and be responsible for all of it. He started with the producing team consisting of himself, talented rapper Changbin and 4th gen ace Han. Together the three are known as 3racha and write and produce most of SKZ music though the other members contribute as well. There are two other sububits. Daneracha made up of Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix as well as vocalracha consisting of the two youngest members Seungmin and I.N (pronounced like the letters not the word).
They write a lot of deep meaningful lyrics about finding your place in the world, struggles with mental health and anxiety. They dont typically write love songs though they do have a few. They purposely do not gender most of their songs so that anyone can enjoy and not feel excluded.
They are extremely close now though predebut… well lets just say some personalities have melded over time. Some fun facts about the members by oldest to youngest:
Bang Chan aussie number 1, leader, trained for 7 years prior to stray kids. Fluent in English. The dad of the group. Loves his kids and Stay (their fanbase) with his whole heart. Always puts himself and his needs last. Used to hold a weekly live called Channie's room where he talked to us about anything and everything. He just stopped this year and its a touchy subject with many Stay. He has been our comfort person and we miss his virtual hugs.
Lee Know, one of my two biases. Many people find him creeping up their bias line. You may not notice him much at first but as you watch more behind the scenes content you will see. He is quirky, he can be loud and sarcastic. His humor can be savage however he tempers it perfectly to the one he is talking to. For example the way he is savage with Seungmin, threatening with Hyunjin and gentle with Felix. He is the mom of the group, cooking for the others and quietly in the background taking care of them. I joke that he loves cats (he has three) and tolerates people. That makes him sound mean and he so isn't. I believe he holds the record at JYPE for fastest to learn their training dances and he used to be a backup dancer for BTS even going on tour with them. He works with the members to really help perfect their choreography.
Changbin, third oldest in age, youngest (at times) in personality. He loves to work out, eat and flirt particularly with Hyunjin though he does it with everyone. He is loud, fun and knows the choreography to every girl groups song. He also has been known to research a theme for a song and can be a deep thinker. His dark rapper persona onstage is generally the opposite of his offstage personality.
Hyunjin, was street cast for his looks but didn't want to be skating by on that so he works so hard all the time to continue to improve his talents. His fancams are almost always one of the more popular as his facial expressions usually perfectly accentuate what they are doing in the song. Often known for having long hair but he has cut it short a few times. His relaxing is spent reading poetry and sketching and painting. He is an amazingly talented artist and has done lives painting for stay. Also wrote a beautiful ballad called #LoveStay about how he feels about us. He is sweet, protective of his brothers (SKZ) and fans.
Han, my other bias. Fluent in English with a british accent which is funny. He is the 4th gen ace meaning he is naturally good at singing, rapping, dancing etc. Also incredibly good at freestyle rapping. He is an extroverted introvert. Shy around those he doesnt know, with the other members he is LOUD and one of the mood makers of the group. Has a habit of storing food in his cheeks while he eats which means he is often referred to as squirrel and quokka. He writes some of the more emotional songs about anxiety. His songs Alien and Volcano stand out to me as examples of his amazing talent. And he is funny when he is in his element. Often slightly clumsey and willing to laugh at himself. Han has softened since predebut. Back then he was an angry kid but now he has grown up and found his home with the others.
Felix, aussie #2. Fluent in English. Mr. Deep voice. We call it the Felix effect and it is real! He was born 1 day after Han and because he is our other moodmaker we frequently call the duo the sunshine twins. While Felix is known for his deep voice his personality is very soft and cuddly. He loves baking brownies for the members and talking to Stay. When Felix cries we all cry. He is much more sensitive than some of the others and is treated very gently by his fellow members who treasure him. He loves cuddling his fellow members and is just the biggest ray of happiness and sunshine ever.
Seungmin. Wow what can I say? This man is one of the most talented singers ever. He is never satisfied and is constantly trying to improve his vocals. He is wickedly smart. Stay pretty much has Seungmin pegged as all knowing and all seeing. He can be quiet and then all of a sudden pipe up with a deep thought that makes you freeze and go woah! He can be very savage with some of his brothers and then will giggle and run away. Fluent in English.
I.N. the groups Maknae meaning youngest. He often can act like the oldest when the group is being immature. Is very hard on himself. Is babied and beloved by the other members more than he appreciates I think. Only meaning they want to baby him and he is whining for them to stop type thing. Is one of the least touchy members, not really liking cuddling. In Korean culture typically the eldest eats first however this group has the tradition that the youngest starts the meal. He loves trot music. He smiles almost all the time. And has one of the best imo unit songs with Maknae on top with Chan and Changbin. A hilarious video full of subtle referrences to fan favorite moments of his. When they debuted he was still so young but has grown into a self assured man and is steadily bias wrecking Stay with his talent and charms.
There you have it. The group loves to play with sounds and genres of music so they really don't fit any mold. They may follow a hard rock song with a dubstep ballad or summer beach vibes or a rap heavy west coast 90s vibe. They have done all those. Their Japanese releases tend not to have subtitles but you can find color coded lyric videos for all songs. Each member has put out at least one solo song as well. They are CONSTANTLY working and there is always something new to watch or listen to with them. I definitely recommend a guide. Teanosuga's 2023 guide is the best imo but it is super long so if that doesnt work for you just pick another.
Of note when they debuted they did it with 9 members so videos prior to Oct 2019 will contain Woojin who left for personal reasons and now has a solo career. Sometimes his face is covered with an emoji if you are watching an edit. He is a very divisive topic amongst the fans so just giving warning.

This SKZ comeback is killing me and I'm here for it, as one of my wreckers aka Han ( I tried to keep him on a tight leash but he broke from it lol) has joined my other two biases Felix and Hyunjin (now i have 3) and my wreckers wrecker Lee Know has joined Changbin as a wrecker.
I am in love with the pirate\purge theme throughout the MV as its more like they are trying to show people no matter what they wont change as they give people like me hope that we can just be who we are.
the lyrics are also amazing as ever as I had ever since the teaser, lalalala la lalalala stuck in my head when I wake up and wen I go to sleep. The beat is also super catchy as its a beat that's the type to get you hyped up and ready for anything.
On a side note i love Han wearing the clown mask as I could tell it was him just by looking at his eyes. also I just wanted to say i love the choreo and learning it myself and i also love the rapping and vocals in the song aswell. also i love the rock sound as if it wasnt for kpop i wouldnt be into rock type music at all and talking bout the music i love the drums and the guitars also i love how chaotic but natural it all looks.
skz are known for being an all rounder and great performers... also known for a heavy rap and producing group...
skz and ateez are friends and theydo have a similar vibe. skz sound is more creating structure in chaos and Ateez is more finding the god sounds in total chaos. Ateez also have more pronounced vocalization focus since they have one of the best vocalists ever (Skz vocalists are impressive too tho ! You should check their more vocal songs like Cover me and gone away)

First thing I want to say, I noticed you've reacted to Ateez before, they will have a brand new music video dropping to December 1st.
Next I want to touch on some facts about Stray kids. They are an 8 member group currently, but started with 9, one member left in 2019. The leader of the group, Bang Chan, is the only leader in K-pop who was given the opportunity to choose his members. Stray kids are a group, but within the group they have subunits based on their primary roles within the group. The first subunit is called 3racha, they are primarily the main rappers of the group and participate the most in the production of their music. 3racha are Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. Next is danceracha, the main dancers of the group. Danceracha is Hyunjin, Felix (Felix is the super saiyan boy in this) and Lee Know. Last but not least is Vocalracha, the main vocalists of the group and also the 2 youngest members. Vocalracha is Seungmin (the member that came in with the vocals that you really liked) and I.N. Despite everyone having units and roles, Stray kids do not limit themselves within those roles. Everyone can and does sing very well, everyone can and does rap, everyones dances and everyone writes and produces. On the topic of their production. Stray kids have the highest level of input into their own music production in all of the new k-pop groups. They write the lyrics for 99% of their music, compose the beats for 95%, with some help from other composers, and arrange their own music about 50% of the time with the other producers they work with. Bang Chan, the leader and main song writer and composer, currently holds 180 copyright credits on music. Changbin holds 152, Han holds 148, Felix holds 22, Hyunjin holds 24, Lee Know holds 17, Seungmin holds 20, and I.N holds 19. A lot of their music is just like this, very hard hitting and high energy, but they do also visit a softer side of music and write very beautiful and touching lyrics frequently. On top of being very talented and very successful they are all very kind, humble and hilarious people. They all treat their fandom, named Stays, with a lot of kindness and respect.
If you want to see some more hard hitting songs from them I recommend Topline, God's menu and Thunderous.
If you are interested in checking out some of the softer music I recommend Youtiful, Lonely St. and Levanter (although my current favourite song from them is Cover me, a beautiful softer song that does not have a music video yet).

are the members of stray kids. the top three names are the rappers and they write and produce most of their music, they are also known as 3racha. the middle 3 are the dancers.
