I started creating video content for work and I’m 100% making it up as I go along because I have zero experience in it before this, but now that I know what it takes to plan, shoot, and edit a video… I don’t know how you do so much all the time. I hope you don’t genuinely feel guilty for time away or different editing styles because we are here for you regardless of all that. Even if you Jenna Marbles’d one day, we’d understand and wish you the best in life.

After seeing this I caved and bought it. I didn't need anymore of anything because I have way too much already, but the price really can't be beat, and I'll use most of it at some point. I'm excited though, and that makes it worthwhile.

I'm happy to see that Glossybox didn't let us down this year! Also, truffles definitely do NOT taste like garlic. I just don't want anyone to splurge on truffles thinking they're gonna get something nice and garlicky and end up with a mouthful of musky sour dirt (not a big fan of truffles, if you couldn't tell😅)

Honestly, I love the idea of advent calendars until you run out or get sick of them! I don't watch them with the intent to buy one, I just like seeing you unbox and talk about everything. Also seeing pups snoring away in the background on occasion 🥰
That fruit is a guava! I've never had one so I'm not sure what recess of my brain that information came from 😂 Also I love how in the doggy advent calendar content it's always picky boy wren vs garbage disposal tater 😂

I couldn't figure out the fruit and it was bugging me 😄 Funny thing is I've had guava, but I've only seen guava cut length-wise so it has more of a pear shape, as opposed to cut across so it looks round, like in this video - apparently a difference in cut is all it takes to stop me from recognizing it 😆

I honestly think having more skincare than makeup is a better option for an advent calendar because not everyone wears makeup but anyone could use skincare.
I agree as long as they start marketing them skin care and not makeup. If I pay for a makeup calendar I want makeup 😡 skincare feels like a cop out when it says makeup on the website/box
A lot of skin care products are for specific skin types or issues, so it's pretty much the same thing as makeup. There are makeup and skin care items that can be used by everyone. If a box is going to have mostly or entirely skin care, it needs to be marketed as such. I dont "do" skin care, so I would be pretty upset if I got a box that was 3/4 creams and oils.
Alexandria's energy when unboxing advent calendars is the chaotic good content I always come back to watch. Is there others that do these unboxings? I don't know, it's always Alex that keeps me glued to the screen, wondering what's about to go flying, what will fall, what will have her go on a rant for good or bad and what the puppers are doing in the background. It keeps my inner squirrel entertained. 🐿😁

The brand 111 skin is said like ‘one one one skin’. So many people don’t know what to refer to it as but it’s a beautiful brand of products, super lucky where I work sells it along with other luxury brands. It’s also really interesting to ready about the technology/formulation behind it xx
Don’t care that it is January I enjoy unboxing advent calendars. I hope you are able to save most of the books that got flooded. There are ways to save completely flooded books.
I found you and started watching your old advent calendar videos well before Christmas last year, and will happily watch new ones whenever you put them out. Advent calendars in June? Sure, let's have it. As long as you're enjoying it, I'll watch them. Don't stress on editing and schedules. You have enough going on. I will say, while an eye shadow palette would be better, and more inclusive, that palette technically CAN be used for eyeshadow. Especially as a base for other colors to be put on top. But, I agree, it’s better to stick with something that’s inclusive if there aren’t any customizations
That's my plan for some of the lighter colours - they make a perfect base shade for my eyeshadow to go over. Also I really liked that they had a translucent and a banana powder as well.

When you run out of advent calendars you should do “trying less loved things from brands” video, where you test out some of the products from brands where you only get one thing normally.
I’m in the UK and every product was totally different! The calendar looks exactly the same… but totally different products. Love all your advent calendars, the more the merrier 💜💜💜
Day 2 my cousin got the lipstick in the shade "Shade" 😂 It's like a berry pinkish tone. I liked the calendar so much I bought it as a gift for someone else after it went on sale. I thought it was pretty good overall!

Shade is a medium pink Estate lip gloss that some people got. Some also got the Revolution blusher in Beloved, a pale pink peachy color. I never get sick of Advent Calendar unboxing videos. I'm not the only who thinks that.
Hi Alexander! I hope your fur baby is doing well. I noticed that after each video that you are doing the calendar treats. Check the box for ingredients because they may be causing an allergic reaction that triggers seizures.
The color enhancer is meant to lock in your hair color and keep it looking fresh compare to regular shampoo that would strip your hair color n' it's color brightance. You are meant to use the color enhancer at least once a week or every two weeks depending on your dyed hair color you have..

I think all the Glossybox advent calendars this year... Well 2022 hahaha... Were brilliant in their own ways. Yours was fab - loved the candle, agree with the contour pallette but you can definitely use it for other things like eyeshadow. I was very impressed with my daughter's (we're in the UK) and I even checked out the European Glossybox advent calendar unboxings and that was fab too. Well done to Glossybox - hope this year's will be just as good!! 🤞✨ I'm happy to have advent calendar unboxings, endlessly 😅 they always entertain me. Looking forward to so much more. This was the very first Advent Calendar I bought! I love it and still am using some of the items. It's a shame GlossyBox is no longer shipping to the US. Got the Macy's 2023 calendar...just not the same. Got some good stuff but not the same as GlossyBox.
That isn't a regular head band that is a head band you use to keep your hair out of the way while you do your skin care routine. I have the same head band from the same brand but mine I bought in the leopard print and I wear when I am getting ready do my nightly skin care care routine.. You got it right the brand is inspired to be a modern day take on the 1950's which is honestly what drew me to the brand🥰🤗🌟
I love that calendar and I loved it so much I got a second one and it had different shade of blush and lipstick and brushes. Still a great value though. I use the contour palette as transition shades. You can make it work. 👍

If you turn all of those boxes around and put them back, it makes a pattern and you could reuse it all to organize things without seeing the numbers!

This was the very first Advent Calendar I bought! I love it and still am using some of the items. It's a shame GlossyBox is no longer shipping to the US. Got the Macy's 2023 calendar...just not the same. Got some good stuff but not the same as GlossyBox.

That isn't a regular head band that is a head band you use to keep your hair out of the way while you do your skin care routine. I have the same head band from the same brand but mine I bought in the leopard print and I wear when I am getting ready do my nightly skin care care routine.. You got it right the brand is inspired to be a modern day take on the 1950's which is honestly what drew me to the brand🥰🤗🌟

I love that calendar and I loved it so much I got a second one and it had different shade of blush and lipstick and brushes. Still a great value though. I use the contour palette as transition shades. You can make it work. 👍
