I already knew to how to edit but this video has taught me so many things I could have been doing. Editing feels so much more fun and easier now thanks!

Ive spent like 5 hours approx on one edit (not finished)😭 same audo clip as yours and less clips (and much worse) but trying to get used to velocity, at the 50 minute mark and i cannot say that i misunderstood a single thing (besides when to and when not to do source time before or after a clip) youve said so far, very explanative and even show what keybinds you use haha ty :D o
i highly recommend using wav files to avoid the annoying audio bug in davinci. But you can also just disable and then quickly re enable the audio to fix it. The problem starts whenever you drag the playhead in your timeline for some odd reason

@@darkmagicshockz uhh my clips are all posted to medal so you would have to download them at 60fps which isnt great. i recommend using a clip pack instead just search youtube and u can find a ton of good 120fps clips
yo can i ask why when i use time stretcher the frame on my next clip is like so far away from the frame on my first clip and so the flow looks abit fast and weird. Anybody know why? Thank you ❤
dude avi files dont load in my laptop... windows says i need to buy some plugin for it to work, is there any alternative to this so- like an alternative format which will maintain the same quality or any alternative for avi files to work?
@@firecosmo7632 i mean technically u can just skip the pre render enntirely and just do everything in the same timeline, but if u still want 4k ur gonna need to just copy and paste ur entire project into a 4k timeline. This might not transfer everything perfectly since it's different res but it could be worth a shot if u really want 4k. if u just wanna keep it 1080 tho then ur timeline rn could just be ur final just do ur sfx and like final touches in there
@@sfyner you can make custom keybinds which is what i do. i just click o for optic flow and t for time stretcher but i still do all source times and graphs manually so i can get the flow i want

I have a question tho, we saw how u used the time graphs for the equip animation but we didnt see how u actually made it flow in the rifle kills (maybe im just dumb) but if im going from rifle kill to rifle kill would slow in, fast mid to slow again repeatedly work with a similar graph each time?
@@sfyner the graphs for rifle kills are basically the same as the rest of your velo graphs, except the middle part where it smooths out a bit should really show the enemie's body flopping down.
@@maahi9201 imo all of the alternative options are harder to get to look good. velo graphs are hard at first but once u get the hang of it your flow will be better than it would be with any other retime methods
