The Full size long travel Bronco on Kings did great and now has a new set of BFG's for the internal ballenced 408 full roller to push the gesred & locked 35's over the big whoops fast but not spilling the glass of water. even when launched through the air off he dirt high at full droop climbing a sand dune. I was at the MINT 400 and when I got home looking at pictures my girl took I saw one ND Haad to ask when she took it . The kids behind the guy playing on the truck were cute. Where was I I asked . You were on your mission to tje King trailer . I asked do you know who this guy is? NO and he was watching you pass. I said well that pretty close pic is BJ Bsldwin I bet he also runs Kings and may have came with or sent a message withNomrf I did not get to shake his handbut I made it to the King Trailer and Brett was their I decided to dgo wuth a single shock and went to a industrial small shop and outvame a nice profesinal man named Brett who looked over my auspension set up. He said it was good they could build some shocks that would work well. First I should go to a scale with das &what I would carry if there was more add that to the weight sperate front and back and a whole thing I did that and webt back from the industrial metal supply I usrf sometimes to get some etal I needed fot work installing elevators and escalators I orderd a set of king shocks from him and when they were done I picked them up & installed them. and I found some needed fiberglass fenders from a 96 part out and went to get them I got 2 front fenders a core support & a hood the grill and all the lights and the spindles I liked to see the brake calaoers bolted to them and glad I did one of mine was on1 pin. Got new spindle nearing studs ans all the bearings and seals some chromoly outer axles and a F250 pass sid slipshaft axle . Some ambulance steering rods and upgrade myy brakes and HID headlights and another set with brighter bulbs I put into some HELL cans I bought off vraigslist & they use the same ballast for a longer range beam . Pluss I gusseted and plated with some templets I made and had the steel plates cut computer navigated and a front diff skid plate from Giant Motorsport and I built new stronger radius to beam connections and added a vertical plate piece I welded to the top and bottom and drilled a hole in them and drilled and tapped my beams to ron a big grade 8 bolt through to make an additional conection, Then I cycled both sides up & down ehile turning all tthe way both directions on 4444x4 while spinning the wheels and tires by hand to clear any tight spots from the big F25p U Jonts and some new limit strap mounts I set those and got some bedsides to clear the rear tires an split my 87 fenders and mounted the inside & gusseted amome small swuare tubing to the outsidr. Two tubes I bent to support thr top of the Core and some plats to mout tge hoodpins up front . Then dzzues fastwners in a few places and made the fender mounts out of metal sprinkler pipe tubiin tith som weld washeers with some nuts tacked inside for the alllien bolts that go through the rubber pieces that go into the fenders I fit alll good at the corect abgles and drilled them and mounted them up a new radiator and running lights and the stock stuff mounted to the factory inner fenders and added some gussets to secure the bottom of the core dupport and when done with that No more bullnose it was the 96 the last year of the old full size broncos with a 4" lcut& Turned lift big stainless steel heim joint mounted long chromoly radius arms and new built front tall shock mounts and the bottom to the web on the putside of the bottom of the radius arms. & bieng a one of theOriginal fu;; size SUV with a lot of interior to carry ayuff ibaiaw out of the dirt & weather. and not such a long wheelbase I did not go wuth a 4 link rear I would have to tub in the body in back & loose some room backe there. I went with a nice new set f deavers they arw in Santa ana not roo fAR FROM MY HOUSE. & A FRAME TO FRAME WITH STEL PLATES RISE UPDROM BOZING IB THE FRAME AND TWO GOOD SIZE CHEOMOLY TUBES DUSSETED TOGETHER TIE BOTH SIDES TOGETHER FOR SOME RIGITY TO THE FRAME UP TWARD THR FRONT A LITTLE BIT TO MOUNT THE TOP OF THE SHOCKS . AND THE BOTTOM TTO JUST UNDER THE REAR AXLE. ALL LIMIT STRAPPED AND BREATHERS FOR THE DIFFS AND LONG STEEL BRSDED BRAKE LINES . a WELLREBUILT OVERDRIVE MONSTER TRANS BYART CARR the drag racera trans shop. I rebuilt my transfer case and ckeaned it all up , Pinned te oil tube well new chaub and planatary gears too. speedometer gear % coublr cardon druve shadt with bew U Joints and a newly built rear driveshaft from bsnning driveshaft when a brand new one failed on the way home from the river I had just got it from the Bronco graveyard . No off roading just hauled my little 29 foot open bow boat out from the coast. It would not make it home. They found the problem was chineese U joints,It has a good amout of wheel travel 17 up front & 18-19 in the rear The new raptor has 13 up front & `13.9 in the rear . I can not complain with that onloced and geared built stronger independent 4wheel drive independentfront suspension dampened by posision sensative tunable external resivoir big piston Kings . When I got to the King Trailer at the Mint 400 contingency Brett King was there and I thanked him for how well the shocks I ordered from him workd so well H loooked very glad to heAR YHE PERMAGRIN I GOT FROM THEM AND THEN HE SAID THERE WAS SOMEONE HE WANTED TO INTRODUCE ME TO, hIS NAME WAS lANCE IT WAS HIS DAD THE kINGGOF kINGS AND i KNEW BEFORE THAT HE WAS THE OWNER OF kUSTER OFF ROAD RACE SHOCKS hE ALSO WAS AND IMPORTENT EMPLOYEE OF sWAY aWAY OFF ROAD SHOCKS AS WELL . hE LOOKED HAPPY TO HEAR I KNEW THAT AND HOW MUCH i LIKED MY kING sHOCKS. DOWN TO THE BOTOM AND THEN LOOKING UP THE THING SGSIN HIT THE GAS ON MY OLD STOCK 303O2 AND HIT THE GAS AND MADEIT TO THE TOP. tHEN AFTER A QUAD PULLED UP AND ASKED IF i COULD TRY AND HELP HIS FRIEND HIS FULL SIZE LONG BED WAS STUC IN A BOWL, i SAID LEAD THE WAU i WILK\\LL FOLLOW YOU AND GIVE IT S TRY i DIDAND WAS ABLE TO WINCH HIM OUT, uNFORTUNATLY WITH MY AIR PRESURE LOW i LOST A BEAD OF MY FRONT TIRE OFF THE RIMM i WENTV DOWN TO THE BEACH A MELLOW WAY AND REAL SLOW AND JUST A SHORT WAY UP THE BEACH TO THE TRAILER WERENTED TO GO TO pismo and the Big Sur off road a nice place to see but not rough at all My good s[zed Co2 tank I have popped the bead right back onHappy t refill the tires and head home after a nother night up aroundClint Eastwoods town he is the Mayor of Carmel and took. a ride on my 1500 wqt lythium batery powered stand up scooter I had to replacr my pit bike I could not ride around legal on the street and it was not muc fun in the dirt like a 3stroke 250 or a 125 little tires ar ok for flat pityo pit use but it is so quiet and does abour 55 mph so I took it for a lap at the Laguna Sec tRACK FOR FUN lUCKY THERE WAS NO RACE OR i MIGHT HAVE EMBARESED THEM lol
