To my ears these 3rd Gen Air pods are more comfortable compared to the newer Pro version with the soft gel tips. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxgl8SzyQoymMu-S3V55Dskg5QJ8xr1yCR That said, compared to the 3rd Gen, I notice these do not stay planted in the ear as well. One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

I agree. But I've gone through 3 cheap $30-$40 wireless buds from Amazon because they've failed in some way or another. Starting to consider just biting the bullet and spending the $100 on nice ones

I made a mistake of buying into the fake airpods. Figured after a couple years they would be as good as everyone said. Nope. Fuckers dont even stay connected. Constantly drops to one ear or jumps back and forth. Pieces of shit. Never again. My next pair will be Sonys. Im just waitin for their ass to drop the 4th edition.

I bought these after watching this review and I've never quite heard anything like these. The bass is next level and the sound quality is awesome. I highly recommend if you don't care for noise cancellation.
I bought mine just today and I thought noise cancellation on these are not necessary. The sound is so out of this world. The bass is tough. After few hours of playing them my ears 👂 are almost like destroyed. I advise don’t use them everyday and decrease the volume

Sony do two apps. "Headphones" and "Music Center" which allow you to change the settings on numerous Sony audio products.
I can't connect to those apps for some reason.

The biggest problem of this for me is that there's a main earbud and you cannot use the other one independently.
I ordered the Sennheiser's True Wireless Momentum and got a defective unit (twice). Had it returned and decided to go with XB700. It's actually a good pair of earbuds.
I bought these a couple years ago or so and I love them. Great for when I’m out of the house. The charge still holds great.

Got a pair today, super isolating and tight fit. My AirPods never fit quite right so I wouldn’t take them to the gym, but these are perfect for working out 👍 Great vid

Weirdly enough, I think I would prefer headphones without an app. I feel that the headphones should be barebones and straight forward. The EQ should be perfected by the manufacturers the way they always used to be.

This earbud is so so so so good. I bought mine today and slip them in my ears and the sound is insane. I went out for a walk and couldn’t even hear cars as they pass me by. It is dangerous to walk out with These especially when you have maximum volume. After few hours of playing my ears feels like it doesn’t exist. I am scare that using these earbuds continuously could destroy your hearing ability. The BASS is too much. Way that I actually expected. The overall sound quality is so SONY !

Probably means you're not used to hi-fi speakers. Anyone that goes from 15$ desk speakers to 6000$ amp set up is going to notice the difference, even if it's still just sound.

I love the extra bass line for the gym!! I believe due to humidity, they don't last for more than a few years, but the cost is low enough that I don't mind replacing them as needed.

The wireless last way longer due to no cable tare, IMO worth the extra price. I’ve owned my 65t jabra for 2-3 years now
You can make any wired IEM that has detachable cables wireless for cheaper and some 15$-30$ IEM probably already sound much better than these.

@@AldairBellidoS I was talking about IEM's (In Ear Monitors), for those you would use a "FiiO UTWS1 Bluetooth adapter", its the best thing on the market right now, but its not without its issues and there probably will be a 2nd revision soon, that addresses them. For Headphones I would go with something like a "MPOW MBR1 Bluetooth receiver".

I mean it definitely good for there channel, but they are covering apple products with minor updates but ignoring other products which may not garner much audience especially in NA.

They did a review on the surface headphones face to face with the Sony and base nc headphones. The surface have the best buttons but worst sound between the 3. Sony has the beat speakers and bose has the best micophone. If your not making phone calls get the sonys. If you really really care about gesture commands get the surface

When it comes to the earbuds it really just depends what doesn't fall out of Your Personal ears. A review won't tell you that. I own the Sony 1000mx3 and they sound incredible, but falls out really easily

@@flupsie969 I've been a Sony fanboy since I was a kid. I grew up with PlayStation and Spider-Man. I'm not saying Sony is the absolute best, but there's no denying that they do make quality products. These met all my needs at $99. I didn't want to spend an extra $50 for a 2 hour battery life increase. If I considered the Galaxy Buds + at $150 then I might as well spend the extra $50 and get the superior Sony WF-1000XM3.

Just some occasional vibration of the entire bud in my ear from slipping kinda loose sometimes
I dont think its specific to these buds tho, as I also have some jlab buds and they feel similar in that aspect

just bought the xb 700 def worth it, bought it for the gym, gonna try it out this monday, but I know they will be good I ran up stairs with these on and they stay in perfect. I tested these headphones with my streaming mic headphones Logitech G pro. I have to say the bass on the sony def sounds good, they both are going head to head really since logitech has a Ghub where I can play with setting while these sony dont like mentioned in the video. But even if it doesnt it rly does have good base... Logitech for indoors, and streaming. My Sony for going out and working out in the gym :)

Do they sit in your ears really snug? I’ve had problems where some of my airpod styled buds kept slipping out due to ear sweat.
They can fall out if you are very sweaty because they are oddly shaped

I have the XM3 and the bluetooth 5 has been great. I work in a lab so I often have to move around and even when my phone is 40 feet away I still get clear sound

No water resistance is a deal breaker for the WF-1000XM3. Why would a earbud for on the go use not protect against sweat and rain?

I just tried these over the weekend, and they were worse than even the Jabra or Apple Airpod Pro's.
Doesn't anyone make high quality critical listening BT earbuds yet? I generally like Apple products, but the AirPod Pro's sound like $29 wired earbuds-- especially if you enable noise reduction and adaptive features, and nowhere near even mediocre $50 wired ones.
I also tried the Liberty 2's and several of their competitors up and down the price scale, which were all about the same general level (i.e. at best like average $75 wired earbuds), but they fell out easy and were less comfortable or had exaggerated dynamics or eq (like the "Champipple" of earbud world).
Like most of us, I love music, and have tried some fairly expensive ones too (don't ask how much), but they still were fair at best, as they had major engineering issues. I know that the markup on these things is huge (like 700-1,200%, depending on the brand), so they try to keep costs down, so that they don't cost $2,500+, but someone should really address the gap in this market. The components don't need to be high cost to sound great, just well-engineered.
Obviously nobody expects the quality of Jomo, JH or 64 Audio, but come-on... they should at least be able to engineer something that is both comfortable and designed for critical listening.
Has anyone found any great, possibly lesser known well engineered BT earbuds that are designed for people who love music and want an experience quality audio, instead of "powerful bass", "dramatic high frequencies", etc?

They don't sound nearly as good as the more expensive ones.

They don't give you nearly as much charge.
The case is much worse.
So I got these but they have absolutely no bass compared to my cheap $20 pair of wired earbuds.

I bought these for 40 bucks at Traget on sale. These are great. My only complaint about them is A no touch sensor. B, whe. I wear a beanie with these they push into my ears, it doesn't hurt, but when they are in your ears long enough your ears feel very clogged

The tip's the most important part!
Bluetooth has double the bandwidth and range for the low energy spec. The „old radio“ standard that all Bluetooth headsets/speakers must use (until Bluetooth le audio comes out) has not benefit of Bluetooth 5 except for the multicast feature which allows multiple Bluetooth speakers at the same time without needing more air time.

The WF-XB700 can be gotten for around €120-€150 here in the Netherlands and you can get the WF-1000XM3 for around €150-€180. I personally think the WF-1000XM3's offer more value at these prices.

If you want good cheap earbuds, Get the shurese215 bt 2, They are 80 from bhphotovideo and will differently sound better. But out the box they will not have as much bass, This can easily be applied with a eq. Overall they are more flat but still have enough low end stock for most people.
In the UK WF-XB700 are only £26 cheaper then the XM3...(at the time of writing of course)
