Interesting. That man at the Soggy Peso in the tank top, talking with the two girls you met, was just there last week. He introduced himself as an Isla transplant from Washington DC. Said he has been living there and working as a real estate agent for the past 13 years. Apparently Soggy Peso must be his regular hangout. LOL...

The lovely plant with orange and yellow bloom is a variety of Bird of Paradise “Pride of Barbados”. Love them! I’m thinking of retiring on that island! Beautiful! ❤❤

The beautiful plants at Maria’s kan kin, like other’s said, is the national flower of Barbados, common name is Dwarf poinciana, scientific name is Caesalpinia pulcherrima. Had them growing in my yards when I lived in Miami ❤️ I studied botany. I’m a crazy plant (and cat) lady

Fructans, from which tequila is derived from, can help these good bacteria flourish. If you get drunk off tequila it will most likely have the opposite effect, but a small amount could help.
Pride of Barbados - the orange/ yellow flower everywhere. I LOVE love love staying at Maria's Kan Kin. I was the only guest for a few days, they locked me in at night ! Imaginate! Did you send Lili a link? She looks so cute!

I visited this island for one day back in 2018 for my honeymoon and let me tell you, it was the most beautiful place I have ever been too. But the one thing we were not prepared for was the money for a golf cart rental lol. Not knowing CC are useless there, we barely had enough cash to scrape together for a rental that day, but we did it and toured the island for a few hours. After that we just hung on the beach until the catamaran took us back to Cancun. Totally worth the day trip, but next time we will remember to bring more cash lol.

I always laugh at the term “ hand crafted” when it comes to drinks, duhhhh what bar doesn’t serve them that way??? I mean it’s pretty damn easy to make drink. Lol
You would be surprised at how many times I’ve had a margarita poured from a large jug of premade crap or a pina colada from a giant slushee machine. Taking the time to mix each individual cocktail is appreciated.
