What other things can I measure with this light meter for a followup video? Let me know!

I have this model but after < 18 months the tempurature starting showing higher than it was [is]. The light meter seems fine, but the Temp is now settled about 4-5 Celcius above the actual temp.
The user manual mentions 're-calibrating' anually. It offers no servive for this & provides no method. Is there a way I can do this myself. Best regards.

Why does the reading jump up / down on my lightmeter, even if I hold the lightmeter steadily in front of the light source?

Mine sometimes goes up and down a decimal point or two, but it's pretty steady. Perhaps yours is defective or needs to be calibrated.

I have one. But how do you measure lumens from my flashlight?

The lumen rating stated on a flashlight is the total light output of the flashlight, but flashlights disperse light in a variety of patterns, some tighter, some wider. The light meter will only measure the amount of light that hits the sensor. Therefore you cannot simply point a light meter at a flashlight and get the lumen rating. To get a true rating, you will need an integrating sphere. Lab quality ones are expensive, but you can DIY with a polystyrene sphere.

OMG, why do people like you do this? Why do you read the freaking warranty card and the side of the box? We can read that for ourselves.

I will treat your question as legit, not rhetorical, Harry. I look at packaging, warranties, etc for the folks who are considering purchasing an item but do not own it (yet). Yes, if the item has already been purchased, folks can read the box for themselves, but not everyone watching this video already owns a URCERI MT-912. If folks don't want to see this stuff, they can easily skip ahead. This is an old vid. On my newer videos, each part of the video is time indexed, making it even easier to skip past the "unboxing" if it is not of interest. Considering your comment, it may be worthwhile to add time stamps to my older videos as well.

Perhaps you could have summarized the warranty rather than read it verbatim. While Im sure reading the warranty card adds to the length of your video, Im interested in the actual item and how it works rather a tutorial on how to open a box and how to read stuff on a card. I have had such a tutorial over 50 years ago. That isnt very helpful.
