    Nice. Good video.
They grow in just about any soil type, any location, any amount of sun/shade, etc. Extremely tough plants, for sure. As rock solid as they come. They do generate a decent amount of maintenance though, as I am constantly trimming my back almost every couple of years, which I guess in reality, is not all that uncommon. They get huge quickly too.
At least here, the magic temp is about -2°F as to when the leaves fall off. This year we hit 1°F and they look perfectly fine. Last year we hit around -6°F and all but the very bottom, ground riding leaves fell off. Rebounded perfectly fine though. Landscapers here call them "semi evergreen", as there is a good chance they will lose their leaves. Just about the same rules apply for the Rhododendrons too.

I just wish V. tinus and davidii were as hardy!

@@nativeandunusualplants3582 I will say, I am not at all sure which variety I have. There are so many. They are kind of junk plants in the landscape trade. They will just plant them when nothing else will grow there due to their toughness. I’m not sure what to think about them. I guess I could just take them or leave them, but everyone has different thoughts and opinions on them, which is totally fair.

In my neck of the woods they're super rare. Actually, I don't think I've ever seen another one around!

@@nativeandunusualplants3582 Ah okay, gotcha. Didn’t realize that. Figured they were all over, quite honestly. Looks like a good deal for you then! Keep it up!

I Just saw a couple of those in a garden in Guelph this past summer. Not sure if it was the same variety but cool plants nevertheless

They really are! Both of us are really limited to choses of broadleaf evergreens that aren't pH picky and really cold hardy! Hope you winters been a good one, we're almost through 😉

Why do they call it Prague Viburnum?

I believe the person that successfully crossed the 2 parent viburnums lived in Prague and maybe worked in a botanical garden in that city
