In the year 2087 someone is going to dust an old album they found in an abandoned warehouse off and have their life changed forever.
Amen 🙏 😂
One of the greatest writers of all time.
+Official Lex Montero Yes sir.
The greatest!!!!
So satisfying listening to his rhymes
Top 3 easy
@@jarjthejargj6099 I will have to agree. Canibus 🏆
One of the most underrated albums of all time.
The best album that year of 2003! My favorite of his and it is underrated.
Afgan..THE MOST UNDERRATED ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!!!
M
Damn, another Afghan 🇦🇫, i wonder what makes as gravitate to this music?
Yes
Listened to this stoned somewhere between 500 and 10 million times.
My Divine Mind needs to get Signed to The Red Planet mannnn
I feel you! And like most of his work, you can still find something new every time you listen. hahaha
Same
Just ignore me. I'll just be standing here on the hill in my linen robe holding this album. "The heretics will never get this album!"
The first verse just gave me the hardest goosebumps.
Honestly.
The last two lines 😊
This song should be in the hip hop hall of fame.
This song is the hip hop hall of fame
basically everything regarding to stoupe is pure gold
Nick Sarjveladze no.....
Canibus and Stoupe was such a great combo. Stoupe's beats compliment his style so well.
This album saved my life no lie
Godly production and godly lyricism combined
Canibus = Greatest Of All Time. Lyrically untouchable. Guys brilliant.
Man I can tell you from personal experience...I actually met and had a good long 15 minute conversation with Canibus after a show he did in Vernon NJ (Mountain creek). I wasn't even supposed to be back stage and his bouncers nearly kicked me out until I started talking to him and he told them to back off. I was very "awe stricken", but still could gather myself up enough to talk to him about everything I've ever dreamed of, from the lyricism and music, to his ideas on metaphysics and concepts he depicts in his songs...then basically just thanking him and telling him to keep doing what he's doing no matter what the haters or anyone else says, before giving my peace and getting out of there *he* thanked me, for being a supporter of his music, and gave me his personal email. So from what I can tell you, I never saw him in the light you depict, as an asshole or arrogant or self entitled. The only thing I can say in regards to that, maybe his ego is big, because at that show there wasn't a big crowd, but he did all his most popular songs until the crowd wanted him to do 100 bars, to which he simply said, " Oh no, ya'll ain't ready for me to break that out here, this isn't big enough" but so what? I still support him even after the unfortunate king of the dot battle where he basically shot himself...but I digress
Canibus sat at a table with Big Pun, Mic Geronimo, um DMX in his prime, others... legends... and he had the nerve to think he should spit last amongst literal giants at that time... He never humbled himself and let producers produce etc... he could have been special but he made almost every career error... from thinking wyclef and him was a good match, to turning down DJ Premier beats, to beefing with everyone, to getting destroy by Diz, to everything he's ever done...
@@zacharystefano8490 That's amazing.
@@johng8671 Oh, go fuck yourself..
I've always loved "Helen's Song" from Candyman, deep song that Pierce's your heart. Been a huge fan of Jedi Mind Tricks since '98 and Canibus for as long as I can remember. This is one of the best songs I'll ever hear in my life as everything I love and admire about what I truly love is all Incorporated right into this song. damn this is good!!
Dope hearing about a female JMT and Canibus fan.
Stoupe is blessed with choosing excellent classics and turn em into rap beats. This is what sold me on JMT and anything Stoupe produces. Man is a genius!!
That 2nd verse is one on the nastiest 16s to ever be spit
Canibus is the most underrated rapper tbh, he needs more attention for his art. He wasn't a sellout like some of these rappers, even though it's not bad, he will always be a pure person as well as a rapper
*eminem*
@@skidtv6617 feminem got rekt verbally only you stans secured his victory
@@dannybrooks1847 lol not really bro, canibus made himself look foolish.
@@mrcrackdonald_1 u dumb
Only stans will say that em won but please tell me where at?
This is one of the greatest hip hop songs of all time
Rip the jacker is the best album
What a moment it must have been for Canibus to hear his album for the first time.
Agreed
MegaTreeBark Stoupe put together a fucking masterpiece. Wish Bis and Stoupe would collaborate again
Haha yes
This album gave me a lonely tear after listening to it..
Long live BIS!!!!! The GOAT!
✌️💜🙏from Chicago 🇺🇸
Pure genius!
Yeah man!
I dont know any album with a better production than this
This album was special
Canibus is UNDERRATED !
SO MUCH
this was his dopest album.
dude is on another platform of hip hop after death he will be understood...like jimmy hendrix
Damn, this beat is amazing.
It's Candy Man.
Stooped is the best

candyman❤🔥
You can hear more Stoupe the Enemy of Mankind's work with Jedi Mind Trick.
I still don’t care that he took out a notepad versus Dizaster. Canibus’ notepad is like Mjolnir or Excalibur: only the worthy can wield it
Still one of the best to spit a hundred bars
DRAWIN' HIS OWN WORDS IS TRULY A GIFT FROM GOD!
Mic club was on par with this album, though i still consider RIp the Jacker to be Canibus best album.
I know every word on this album by heart. Too bad he's never made anything like it, before or since.
omega well 200bc is sick every album is different he doesnt like spitting the same thing
The best Canibus song of all time is Buckingham Palace, not on this LP. The fact that Canibus had nothing outside of rapping to do with this album is pretty damning on his shooting himself in the foot over and over. He needs to rap and then shut the fuck up. He turned down DJ Premier's beat for what turned into D'angelo - Devil's Pie... He is an absolute moron
Bis is too real for normal people!
No way is Buckingham Palace his best song. He's spat better bars than those plus the beat was mediocre as fuck!
For whom the beat tolls? Lyrical law isnt as easy on the ears but, C of Tranquility? He released 2 EPs last month, I like how someone put it in one comment "canibus levelled up"
The fact that this album was produced by stoupe! Got damn masterpiece!!
Stoupe w tha Candyman sample. Such a fn classic pce to Canibus.
Can you imagine the level of dopeness a "Soul on Ice" style Ras Kass and a "Rip The Jacker" style Canibus collaboration album would have? I can only dream.
They both have a lot of collaborations tho
I can't believe that this beat is a sample from the movie, candy man.
Cause this was my joint for so long and I just found out after watching canyman again. It was funny because as the movie played I kept hearing canibus' voice in my head and I'm like wait canibus sampled this beat. I listened to the song and there it was. I just thought it was brilliant afterward. Then posted my reaction.
+williambernard brown Canibus didn't sample it. Stoupe The Enemy Of Mankind did, legendary producer for Jedi Mind Tricks.
You know what I meant. Its obvious that Canibus don't produce. But Stoupe did a great job and had good vision to make this track. Probably one of the best tracks in history. But Canibus is one of those Emcees that wont be fully appreciated until he's gone. But the song is straight fire.
Check out the phantoms anthem by K Rino
REMEMBER THIS!
His rhymes are elite....no one can touch him
On the 7th cycle I had to take the day off. I was exhausted I gues my workll never pay off
The beat gives me chills.. Lol.
He Carved His Legacy...into History.. Never easy to do!! Amazing Word Play.. he's that dude!!
The glorious kick off to the greatest hip hop album that will ever grace this earth, too bad so few get to enjoy it's delicious nectar
The Ripper (Bis) finished the Jacker (LL) with a best-amazing written, great produced and executed Album. No disputes.
I love the candyman beat this is fire
" I was exhausted, I guessed my work will never pay off
But if it happened it to Him, it could happen to me
And if it happened to me, it was destined to be"
Yo bis, you never got the respect you deserve from this community. But a few people, me included, understood your genius and are here for you because we know there's never gonnna be another canibus.
(and this is coming from one of the biggest eminem fans, just to let you know we know how to be objective)
Both lyrical genius. Different style and direction but both amazing in their own way. Tbh I couldn't objectively pick one over the other. Tempted to say Canibus but I'd be lying. I'm simply biased...
hope this sparks no debate not the goal here
Edit: Rereading this comment and still can't pick one over the other.
the greatest emcee of all time
And to think bis' recorded all tracks a capella and idnt hear it until he bought an album after he left the army .
Greatest emcee of all time. No cap
Genabis
This is Genabis, Remember this
In the beginning I discovered wordplay
I experimented with some syllables from the first to the third day
On the fourth I searched for the words to say
How to compress complex verbiage in the least amount of space
I was perfect at it and mastered the tactic's
On the fifth day I decided I would combine it with mathematics
On the sixth day I became a fanatic and I couldnt kick the habit
I would just look in the mirror and practice
On the seventh cycle, I had to take the day off
I was exhausted I guessed my work will never pay off
But if it happened it to him, it could happen to me
And if it happened to me, it was destined to be
Yo, Genabis, Exobus, Levitibus
There aint a mic on this planet I'm restricted to touch
I read the cosmo's but God wrote predicted as much
The inhabitants lack faith but resistance is tough
They backslide back to church and call a minister's bluff
They rather remain unenlightened then listen to Bus
I blew the fuck up, even though it was short and abrupt
I was the first rapper to ever to close orbit the sun
One small step for man, one huge step for mankind
... I am the red giant of rhymes
Solar deflectors, incinerate you whole in a second
Flow is untested those that I've threatened fold under pressure
At 120 Beta cycles, high volts ignite your eyeballs
Until you see the fire in front of you
Optic cone rods, melt one at a time till you realize you in hell
Rip the Jacker's not done with you
I terrorize the rap community with impunity
Blow you to pieces and move elusively thru the debris
What my enemies want to do to me is old news to me
Those that pursue to me will never get thru to me

My motto is to dress casually and live lavishly

For proof I'm the illest so the choice is not unto you

Tbh stoupe and bis should've formed a duo after this album, or better yet canibus could've joined JMT, honestly they go so well together I'm surprised they didn't make another project after this one again, what a masterpiece
Stoupe took that candy man theme and crafted this masterpiece, Bus will be heralded as the goat many years from now they’ll dissect his lyrics and find all the knowledge woven in the rhymes no doubt in my mind who the best ever is my homeboy Canibus!!

THE MAGNIFICENT
where you at bro, we bang these joints in Arkansas. Lord Ewok
His best album n my opinion but I do love the debut Canibus album
