It's so interesting how the Lord has such a different story for each of us! I'm a female, and He has told me NOT to do online dating (unfortunately I had to have some horrible experiences before obeying). And He's provided many ways to meet people. I trust in His promise that one of these days I'll meet the one that is for me.

My husband and I met on eharmony after being prodded by friends to step out. We talked a couple months, then met face to face and had a difficult time parting company. It was like we had always known each other and now could not bear to be apart. We married 9 days later. We're soon to celebrate 12 years of union in joyfully walking with our Savior Jesus, whom we both deeply love, and dying to our flesh together!

Love this! I waited and expected for years and then gave up. Recently the Lord started to reignite the desire. I'm waiting once again but the more mature version of me is waiting so no more anxiety LOL. Thank you for sharing your testimony.

This was my favorite one because you are just so real and honest. Not like a professional preacher at all. Real is so refreshing. I just watched your morning blog and decided to watch this next. I have waited 47 years for my promise and fasted and prayed to PUSH forward in 2017. Now, I am waiting on promise and God is at work. I am hoping for an incredible God story. Trying to trust God in the process. Sometimes it feels like God only cares about world missions and not my desires. I have to fight this and say no, God does care. I just have to wait. Bless you and family. You have helped me through 2018 so much.

Ok this was a blessing! There are so many videos on "How I met my husband" on youtube and so few perspectives from the men, I had to click to watch! Ill admit, at first I was like, "This is abt to be wack🙄" lol, but then it totally was not! Im amazed at the part when you said you guys' date was June 16 and you married Dec of that same year! I loved how you added to that, by saying that when God is in the mix of it, things will start to happen like BOOM! 🙌🏾 I recently met a wonderful King of a man while serving at my church and the chemistry has been consistent, fruitful and poppin! I will be delighted when our story develops to this level of what God has in store for us! I'm believing for an amazing Kingdom marriage to my best friend, where we honor God, I honor him and he polishes Me as his wife! A lot of people put a little extra spiritual on it... so much certainty in what they hear and feel.. but this confirms for me the natural way I dialog with the Holy Spirit and how even when I am unsure God has His way of letting me know its Him. I love your story and how GOD spoke to you and had to help you see things from His perspective. TRUE perspective. I’m going through the same thing currently and it amazes me how when we as humans are so ready to say, nope GOD. This isn’t it. It REALLY IS IT! I've wanted to watch this video for awhile now but it seemed the timing wasn't right until today. A wedding magazine randomly shows up in my mailbox today and I'm puzzled as to why it came, Im thinking it's a sign to keep standing on a promise He gave me 5 years ago, a promise of the one He's chosen for me, a man I've only met once, something that seems so unlikely and nearly impossible! He keeps nudging me to keep believing and trust it's going to happen even though I feel like giving up sometimes. After finally watching this video I know it was perfect timing today and it's time for me to believe and stand more than ever and do whatever He tells me to do! I like the part about the 'disappointment' item during the first conversation, at which disclosure you decided "I'm done!" That was my experience, too, and I was ready to literally RUN - BOLT out the door! Not again! This can't be happening! I was so disappointed and embarrassed! This was supposed to be the 'sweetening tree...to sweeten my bitter waters'. My heart sank. I was going home to die! Immediately, Holy Spirit stops me in my tracks and says "But, wait! Nothing has to change! What you just found out isn't gonna change anything!" It appears He was right. The story is still unfolding...
