alright alright, i don't normally leave internet comments but wft, the Ian Lee and bespoke Violet Berlin bits were flippin' chef's kiss man. fair effin play, next level.
As an American with no knowledge of or nostalgia for the original CITV series. I really enjoyed watching all of breaking bad influence and appreciate the work & commentary you put in to make it fun to watch. Was easily some of best content I've come across on YT, brilliant stuff.
I know this is taking the piss out of Bad Influence, but when it was on, I really did love it. It filled the gap between the weekly episodes of Gamesmaster.
Oh I loved both of them. This is very much affectionate arm-punching for the sake of a laugh, but both BI and GM were my two favourite shows growing up.
This whole series was phenomenal and one of the funniest things I've ever watched 😂 Your imagination for the edits is amazing, I'm still pissing myself over that Liam Neeson/Andy Crane voip conversation hahahahaha. This channel deserves to be massive. I can't wait for Gamesmaster!
It's absolute crimes that this magnificent oeuvre has not had a far greater number of views - it's a masterpiece! 16:02 was pretty much the highlight of the episode.. love that Violet came back to do that last review summary! Chapeau, mon ami. Chapeau. etc.
17:28 I forgot how much pantomimes were just a big thing in the 90s with low tier celebrities playing leads 😂. Great episode and the cameos were great too!
They still are but now they are very expensive and a slightly posh to posh thing due to the ticket price rather than a working class thing and a part of the Christmas season every year. There even used to be one in the club room of the large factory complex that used to be in my area ❤ poor kids of today. I miss British culture when there were sufficient numbers that it was more than drunks causing trouble and everyone else stayed in, terrified of the outside world consisting of many flavours of dangerous men. 😢
The last person who destroyed a Jaguar cartridge we fan-boys tied them up and made them listen to the 'Where did you leaned to fly?' Floating green head lady for ten days straight.
I'm pretty sure they gave her £40 spending money when she went to Japan to pick up some merch for the show, so I'm not altogether surprised at that one!
I absolutely loved the series ‘When Games Attack’ with Dominic Diamond from Games Master. Love to see your review on each episode 😀 Not seen the end yet but nearly wetting myself for the end with the juggler E’s are good, E’s are good……. Edit: Did not expect that I was gonna be disappointed with the juggler 😂
Wow end of an era! And what a send off to a great series of Breaking Bad Influence! Bravo, some of the best YT content out there. Sad to see it end. But wasn't sad to see the original Bad Influence end. Weird that!
I watched the first episode of your fantastic TV show piss take last year whilst on holiday in Menorca. I am now watching this last episode on holiday in lanzarote. So everything's come full circle in a sort of shite way.
Well done getting them on for the reviews at the end.. i used to find that guy pretty funny back in the day. was cool to see him again. love the breaking bad influence videos.
Having not grown up in the UK and knowing she show, can I just say how amazing of a video this is. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I would have watched the shit out of a series ripping on the terribleness of other series back then as well! Missed opportunity 10-year-old-Rosie…
Awwww Melissa George! Mr C and the Shamen! PROPER music! They'd clearly spent all their budget on Violet's LOVELY hairdo. I was at University in the year this was shown. Juggling was MASSIVE on my corridor. There were only two people who weren't jugglers... my mate Aj because he lacked co-ordination, and me because I just didn't give a shit. That was just WONDERFUL. Parting really IS such sweet sorrow.
Love all your content, but Breaking Bad deffo held a special place. Especially after finding your channel while looking through TH-cam to find full episodes to watch to make sure my young self didn’t just make it all up
The thing that always got me when watching Bad Influence was that no matter what then new game or technology they were telling us viewers about at the time I could absolutely always hear somebody playing Transbot on the Sega Master System in the background and the game was ancient by then.
I started watching you because I was a little nostalgic for Bad Influence, but now I'm a little nostalgic for Breaking Bad Influence. It's a never-ending cycle!
I can't think of anything suitabily funny, so just the most sincere thanks for all of these. You made my life a bit better each and every time. Final reflection is I used to actually make time to watch this relegiously. I can't quite come to terms with that.
Wow, what timing! After first discovering the channel via this series at the end of 2022, I dipped in and out here and there, before binging Season 4 in the last couple of weeks, with the previous episode only a couple of days ago. Gonna have me dinner and settle down for the finale I reckon!
The Cameos had me laughing my head off - well done sir, you need 100x more subscribers.. I totally didnt recognize Iain after all these years (I no longer am in uk, so i didnt see im a celeb).. Which got me thinking about Daisy Donavan, so i'm off to google her pics and have some private relaxing time...
Home and Away still exists and is in its 37th series in Australia, that and Neighbours employs half Australia's remaining actors, the ones that haven't been replaced by Instagram personalities on reality tv shows. it's like watching a subsidized work program for Downs syndrome adults.
I wonder if The Shamen’s track was as child friendly as Ebeneezer Goode? “There's a guy in the place , who's got a bittersweet face”… that’ll be Andy Crane then.
Imagine you’d watched the Breaking Bad Influence series backwards to alleviate the pain of reliving a teenage gone wrong, only to find you had to start all over again from this shit…….
The final episode of Bad Influence sure was one of the finales of all time. It has it all! A showcase of a shitty drawing application that at the time was probably too expensive for anyone to buy, shitty games with "digitised actors" made just to sell a gimmicky peripheral, recycling games showcased in previous episodes (a lowkey Bad Influence classic!), forced celebrity cameos with actors that have clearly never played a videogame before... and yet I'm gonna miss all of it! I didn't grow up with this show, I learnt about it only because Ashens made a few passing references to it in some of his videos and since I was bored I decided to look it up and got weirdly fascinated by it! It's a shame it had such a crappy ending and that most episodes wasted so much of its budget and potential on showcasing pointless things that the children watching at home most certainly did not give a fuck about. But still, I know that in the future I will rewatch episodes of Bad Influence if and when I get bored, but now I'm also gonna have these videos to rewatch too! Thank you so much for making them! (:
@@RoseTintedSpectrum I see, I just rewatched it for a laugh. Have to credit Fred Dinenage for giving it socks as well as his Nam impression … super cool mega massive funky joy pad.
Great series btw ❤ if Yoshi's Island was in the last episode i realise i was too young to notice it as i was in year 4 when YI came out. Think we watched BBC. The only Bad Influence ive ever watched is your entire series 😂❤
I actually managed to watch all of these episodes between the first one and the penultimate one a few weeks ago so I'm glad I managed to watch one of these live (or at least on the same day), many thanks for all of the laughs and I hope you start to take the piss out of shows like Gamezville and more Lan Jam as I grew up with that shite as a kid. 😂
No idea how I've only just found your channel, but it's my new fav. Do you think you'll do "Gamesworld" that was on Sky One at around the same time? It's even more cringe than BI and GM in my opinion 😂
Well. It's a micron better than some of the shows in this vein that we had in the States. Did you ever watch Video Power? There was a video game review segment, a cheesy cartoon with Acclaim characters, and finally, a game show with a host who convinced himself he was Vanilla Ice. All of these were epically terrible.
The original members of The Shamen formed the group in Aberdeen in 1985. Victoria Wilson-James joined in 1993 and performed vocals for the band until their dissolution in 1999. She was born in Gary, Indiana and studied performance arts in Los Angeles.
I was pretty much in love with Violet when I was 13 and watching this back I’m still pretty much in love with violet but I now realise how much shit she was struggling with with this awful show and her career afterwards that I wasn’t previously aware of makes the constant piss taking a bit sad. This was, unfortunately, the best any video game fan had at the time aside from Gamesmaster with DD’s “locker room” humour which I loved at the time but has dated very badly. With historical context there was no real will to properly cover gaming bit at least they tried. It’s a way to laugh at this with hindsight but it was also viewed as a bit gauche at the time but it was at least a bone thrown to the huge new culture being ignored elsewhere
Also got to 15mins in and realised the word gauche was used in the video which is frankly mind blowing, considering how many words I dismissed before using it on my comment 😂
So what's juggling got to do with computers? Sod all. I did enjoy it when she said "the computer can come up with juggling patterns that are theoretical possible but physical unlikely " I mean we could all do that without a computer. How about juggling 5 dogs on fire, juggling 5000 balls, juggel chainsaws while having key hole surgery. No computer required
I was just about to say "Good, glad that's over, gamesmaster next?" I mean, it wasn't a massive leap of intuition, but even so, I'm glad we're on the same hymn sheet.

This is what you get for 'discovering' Ricky Gervais.
Aint you one of them blokes from Dick and Dom?
Chemical Plant Zone slander will not be tolerated round here, Mr. Lee.
Chemical plant is total shit. I agree. Daisy Donovan jump started my puberty by the way. 11 o clock show was amazing. (I'm 42 now)
Patter thief in chat aye?
Violet was always the best thing about B.I, someone made a huge mistake sending her away.
The end of an era, but great to see Bru the Strummie got the final shout! :D

Never fear, I believe Cyberzone from 1993 is being covered next.
/very evil laugh.
Violet married Gaz Top, they had to decorate their house with waterproof wallpaper.
As an American with no knowledge of or nostalgia for the original CITV series. I really enjoyed watching all of breaking bad influence and appreciate the work & commentary you put in to make it fun to watch. Was easily some of best content I've come across on YT, brilliant stuff.
57 episodes of a show about a TH-cam man gradually losing the will to live. Loved every second, you're a legend babe.
What a great touch having the original kids as they are today make an appearance. That was brilliant.
Also a patter thief, left that out of his bio.
I know this is taking the piss out of Bad Influence, but when it was on, I really did love it. It filled the gap between the weekly episodes of Gamesmaster.

Violet reminds me of Marie Fredriksson, from Roxette. Sadly Marie died in 2019

It's been a wonderful ride and I'm glad I was here for it
We had Cybernet in Australia on subscription TV, and I enjoyed watching that in the late 1990s.

A masterpiece 👏👏
Andy Crane turned 60 this year.
Christ, where the hell has the time gone?
I was 23 when that episode aired, and I am now 51!

The end of an era, when I was a kid I had no idea this final serise existed. So it was odd discovering it was a thing thanks to BBI.

3:56 I Was not expecting cannibal corpse 😂
And its Over!
Time to petition ITV for a revival series.
Epic series of videos mate! I'm off to have a good hard think about Violet playing with balls!
I just want to point out that the game they blew up at the end was Shaq Fu, a game they gave a 4/5 rating in the previous series 😛
Their opinions are like the wind.
Stupid.
Holy shit I loved your YTPs!
Fatabatarang, fatabatarang!
😂😂😂 This was hilarious of gonna Miss These

This was absolutely fantastic and a fitting tribute to end your retrospective.

No, that ended up being a teaser for one of the series, not sure if the video is even still up!
