Everything looked absolutely perfect. Fantastic meal! Incredible value too!
雰囲気もとても良く、高級なお店のようです😘
Hi again T-BOX. Wow, heavy rain in Nagoya that night. It looks excellent, all. This is a top class place, not a plain yakitori. I never had uni with chicken! Appreciate the yuzu/green pepper with the first chicken. But I think I would never order a set course menu in a yakitori. More simpler yakitoris have menus of what they do and also display most everything behind the counter, (easy for gajins to order, just point). I prefer to place small orders, choose and change my mind during the evening, and stop when I am full. But, yeah, "my" yakitoris in Fukuoka when we lived there for many years were mainly for salarymen and locals. The side dishes were more simple: edamame and cabbage with vinegar. Chicken liver mousse looks amazing, more French than Japanese. Duck liver is though king. Nice tokonoma at the end! You sure go to nice places, T-BOX, wish I could afford them, once I could. But it is very nice to see. The value for the price of what yo got is good, but too pricey for me. Also nice to see that you get a beer, some sake and wine and a shochu. Kanpai and arigato!
It looked good, but some of the pieces looked straight up raw on the inside. Particularly the first one
Oh, not everything has to be fully cooked in Japan, but ofc it is matter of taste. We eat a lot raw eggs and sashimi of chicken, horse, fish and liver etc. And things that are just seared on the outside. The quality is strictly controlled and nothing poses any threat to health. I have survived many years of Japanese food. Leave some of the ideas behind if you come to Japan, because you do not need to worry. I am now back in Romania and I can say I do no trust the meat industry and eggs etc as in Japan, I cook stuff more thoroughly.
Raw chicken ain’t the same man. Quality control or not.
@@Simto many people in Japan eat absolutely raw chicken as sashimi, Miyazaki chicken for example. It is a matter of taste. And they do not get ill. You should reconsider your views and maybe learn something about Japanese quality control? As opposed to controls in the US and Europe?
I’ve been to Japan many times. Chicken “sashimi” is rare there because raw chicken is just plain wrong no matter the quality control. Not exactly a dish you see in every izakaya.
You’re making a lot of assumptions about me that you don’t really know. We have great food quality control where I’m from, I’m not squeamish or a picky eater at all and love tartar etc, but there’s a very good reason raw chicken ain’t exactly a smart thing to eat (and that’s regardless of where you do it). Raw chicken doesn’t magically become safe to eat because it’s served at a premium price in Japan. It’s still raw chicken.
But like I said, I thought everything looked great, it just needed a few more seconds on the grill.
@13:25 Yo yo yo! Is that Musk?
