Foundational is the word. The building blocks, repetition, application.
    Enormously helpful.
You are as good at teach as you are at guitar!

I just came across Frank's channel (I own a couple of his Truefire courses) and this stuff is really amazing. Great teacher and breaks it down nicely. Thanks, Frank! I'll share it with some guitar friends. Keep em coming. Cheers

That beginning Dmin to G7 track reminds me of „Round Midnight“ by Monk with that Voicing and Bass Line. Great lesson. Always love your way of teaching. Greetings from Germany

This gave me a breakthrough. Starting in Dorian then mixo on into major. The fretboard became familiar. Connecting notes instead of jumping into random chord tones. Thank you Frank!

first time here. Started playing guitar again after 30 years during the lockdown, I was only a beginner I think I am about intermediate now so I am trying to learn a bit of jazz which is something I always wanted to do. This was such a great lesson and found myself playing along with your easy explanations . I almost ended up crying because I did not believe I could ever get to play this basic kind of soloing. I will never reach your standard but just to be able to improvise and play fluently will be my goal, Thank you Frank I will continue to use your channel.

thank you for this methodical approach! i think these building blocks, repetition, and generous practice time are already helping me internalize these sounds.

1 min playing with it there's part of the melody of cheek to cheek from the last mechanism going up instead of down... Fun too with a triad ending with that

Hi Frank, I learned inversions from the original Incursion Excursion DVD you created quite some time ago (12-13 years?). I hope you are well. You are an excellent teacher.
