We haven’t rode any of our Honda Trail 90 Motorcycles since the LAST video in which we were riding the CT90s around town. So they are in need of some repair and maintenance. But why not ride the bikes to the parts store for said parts!?

My first bike was a Trail 90 in the spring of 1969, when I was 16. Sold it for bigger & faster the next year. Should have kept it, this brought back all the smiles, thanks!
My dad taught me on a trail 90, it was the same bike he learned on 50 years ago

If not already, should have cleaned carb when doing fuel lines. A clean carb makes a huge difference in power and performance. On a 90, labor with correct tools should take about 1 hr. I’ve worked on old Honda’s bikes as a hobby since 1999 and am pretty good at it. Three things I always do are cleaning/replacing ignition points, clean tank/carb/ fuel lines/ air filter and adjusting valves/timing chain. Do those things and Honda bikes will run like sewing machines or the day they were sold.
How do you clean the carborator properly? Having trouble with mine.

My friend's dad bought him an old beat one for us to ride around on. We both lived in the country and when we were 14-17 or so ( before we started buying our own bikes) we'd take that thing out and pound the living shit out of it and you simple could not break it of blow it up. We had a shit ton of fun on it. Hell I'm 57 now I I looked on up solely because something remined me of it and I had sort of forgotten exactly what the looked like.

I love my Trail 90 and 110. You guys need to do some carb cleaning. Mine start up first or second kick every time. Is that Seattle? Looks familiar. I'm in Forest Grove OR. Trail 90s are great in the rain. Get a cheap rainsuit and a full face helmet and hit the road, be careful in corners.

I got a frame with clean title for $100. End of the day, a full resto job with the parts i have will probably cost me under $1000.
You cant go wrong buying one of these regardless of its condition as they're super cheap to fix and build.
Their simplicity also make it easy for first-time mechanics to learn on.
so...the adventure was going to the store. well, i guess adventure is where you find it, right? next up, we go adventuring to the mailbox. will there be a mailman there? what if it's full of junk mail? what if there is an electric bill? can we do rock, paper, scissors as to who pays it? stay tuned to find out! lol!

Forget the Hondas(I owned one, yes they are fun), I want a look at that black Yamaha XS650 sitting there.
That XS650 is featured in a video on this channel called “For The Adventure - These Crazy Guys”. You should definitely check it out. We took it out on a road trip. And it’s a total klunker
I had a '78 XS650 about 12 years ago, and I'm still kicking myself for selling it!
Honda still makes these bikes, they just don't sell them in the US. I am cleaning up a 110 that I bought a month ago.

Stick to the CT70 = It seems the CT90 is too much work for you.
CT70: bigger seat, more fun. Won't climb the mountains like a hi/low CT90 though, not good at carrying extra fuel, gear, tent etc.

It's like a giant man cave. Got few editing stations here, huge shop with an auto lift for working on our vehicles. We operate our film production business out of this location. Check out MN8 Films here on TH-cam for a look at what we do for work on a full-time basis.
How long does it take to edit these videos? This particular video took about 8 hours worth of editing.... the average editing time for the last 11 videos that we have posted is about 10 hours of editing each video...
The sound clips? These are not sound effects or sound effects. Basically I lay out video clips while displaying the wave form of the audio. Then I remove the blank spots between each peak, bang, tap, etc... then you end up with the fun "click tap" sessions as we call them.

I have to admit... after editing on this for about 8 hours... eldad had a REALLY good hard laugh while watching the final product!
