    Great flying machine. The lighter pack was clearly the way to go. Rock solid in the air. Great flier!

    Awesome information and great flights. Nice to see it flying on the 3200 to show another side of this jet. It can handle the larger packs, but comfortable at 3200.

    Nice broski looks like that take off bounce is completely gone! Way better good mod! 6s 3700 are probably the sweet spot for this bird!

    Ryan you sure made the Arrows Mig 29 look great, if I could fly EDFs at our field, our ground is just too rough, I'd already have this one. Jeff in LA USA

    Nice flying and the mod idea is cool. I need to try mine on some smaller lighter packs, it did fine on the 4000, but smaller pack seems like the trick!! Thanks for the Information!!👍🏼👍🏼

    Great job! I will definitely have to do that mod. I don't know if my field is long enough to fly 4000 packs it's only 150 feet.

  • @INCABRC
    @INCABRC 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Big improvement. Lighter battery is a plus. Had a similar issue with the the FW SU35 when I swapped out the mains. Angle of attack was near negative so it would pop off instead of roll off.

    Great landings looks like that did the trick for you. Wondering about grass landings and takeoffs with this jet?

  • @richardpena355
    @richardpena355 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great flights!! Awesome runway, but it's so riddled with cracks, some maintenance is a must for smoother ground handling. If I may ask, what connectors are on the esc's and might you have a link for the spacer you used in the nose strut? Thanks again for another great video!!!

    Hey Ryan, love your vids and passion! Question, I just got mine a few days ago and wondered if you published the control rates and setup for the 3200 battery somewhere or are the rates including elevator same as the shakedown video you did? Thanks!

    • @PilotRyanMedia
      @PilotRyanMedia  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Same as the shakedown my friend

  • @JinyongRC

    Has anyone had issues with throttle calibration and ESC programming?
    When I put throttle stick at top position and connect battery, motors emit cell count beeps and stay still. If I pull the throttle down to bottom, I hear arming sound and nothing happens. Motors are running normally though.

    All you need is a 3300 3200 bat and that's it nothing u need to add fms jets usually use the 3300 on most the 70s especially this mig29

  • @francisconti9085
    @francisconti9085 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Not your lowest pass, was ABOVE rather than BELOW the shoelaces..lol Remember that one? You flew it lower than Dr Scholl's insoles! Haha plane looks better. Was thinking it needed massive flying elevator deflection on, like, 85% expo..lol

  • @chrislefty9354
    @chrislefty9354 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hey there, Pilot Ryan! What did you use for the nylon spacer for the main strut spring? I am really eyeing this jet and would like to make the mod if it helps it fly better.
    Happy flying 🤙✈

    Hey Ryan, I am also using a 3200 Smart battery. Are you doing any Flap to Elev Mix or are you setting Elev at neutral and just using the sticks at takeoff?

    Hi sir i saw on Arrow's website saying that the recommended battery range is 6s 3300mah to 5000mah.
    Do u think 5000mah 6s really possible with this mig 29?
