The Doctor Who panel at Rhode Island Comic Con 2015, with Karen Gillan and Alex Kingston. This is part 1 of the full panel. It was recorded on Sunday, November 8th, 2015.
This was my first comic con and this panel was my first. LOVED it. had VIP so I didn't have to wait too long outside the hall and go to sit in the front!. My sister was the serious Doctor Who fan, but I loved them so much.
+Jaide Winant Yes it was a great panel. Were you part of the VIP rush to sit down front, once they opened the door? I rushed down so I could record this video. The fans in the audience were especially excited to be there.
Yes, I was sitting outside the door to the left, my sister covered the other side so that if one of us didn't get it the other might have secured two. We both secured two but went with my sister because she got a seat almost directly in front of the two speaker's chairs. I was a fan of Doctor Who (specifically Amy and Matt Smith) but I fell even more in love with Karen and got a pic with her, and River Song I fell in love with. It was really awesome. And on a side note, the guy who was talking for an hour trying to entertain everyone before the show was very entertaining I might add haha
I thought it was hilarious when Alex said she accidentally kneed Matt in the balls, honestly made my day because I love that scene between the two of them. I also love how Alex mentioned that because River Song was the daughter of Amy and Rory it means there was sex on the tardis, I had also thought that before hahaha.
I loved the part when Alex talked about sex on the tardis but can someone explain what she meant in the end when she said something like 'it was inside you'?
Thank you so much for uploading this!!!!! I was there, I asked the question the question at 10:45, I was so nervous and just thank you so much!! I didn't get to record it and I was kind of bummed because it felt like a dream without any proof of it. But really, my voice sounds so weird on mic. Subscribes

Haha. Nerd moment. That person asked why, when Amy fought the weeping angels, she didn't just wink. But, she did. In 'The Time Of Angels' when she get's locked in with the weeping angel on the t.v. set, if you watch her face through that whole scene, she does try the winking thing as she says, paraphrasing, "do you know how hard it is to NOT wink??" ... and nerd moment over.
Nice one! Although didn't Amy kind of try winking in that 4th episode? While she was trapped with the angel on the screen and she was saying something close to "I am trying! Have you ever tried not blinking!?" to the Doctor through the door.

Wait when did Alex find out Karem s chsracter was her mother? I thought she knew by the Time of Angels in season 5..or didcshe say here when she found out exactly?
Ok so the Christmas special was filmed in September and this con was in November. ..Alex says that her role is still going on...so does that mean that the Christmas special wasn't actually Rivers last episode????
Seems like it might have been... but Moffat also opened a potential loophole for River to come into an episode with 13 in a comment he made, so you never know! Alex has said she sort of hopes the character is done, though.

@@allthingspaper3247 Apparently the TARDIS considers itself one of River's parents, as much as Amy and Rory. It's why she taught River how to fly her.
