Liked your review, on those fans. You can use distill white vinegar to clean out the scale from the hard water. Use a 50/50 of vinegar and water and run it untill it starts misting again.
The way these work are buy using your skin as an evaporative surface area, that's why it's marketed as a personal a.c., this would never cool a small area much less a room. For these types of devices to actually work they would need a recirculating water pump/lines and a built-in evaporative surface area such as coils or wool fibers.

The fan doesn’t have an internal battery. You either have to have it connected with a power brick or power bank for portability. If you’re going the power bank route I’d recommend getting a 20,000mah power bank. That will power the fan for 8 hours on max settings

It doesn’t keep the room cool. This fan is meant to be right up to your face for you to feel it. If you stand a few feet away, you wont feel it.
