  • On this episode of Jamaicans to the World, host Xavier Murphy chats with Kadija Richards, a Jamaican who lived and worked in one of the wealthiest European countries, Monaco. Kadija talks about the surprisingly small population of Monegasquans in Monaco, a dying language, the astronomical cost of rent, fabulous grand prix events, and how Monegasquans react to learning she's Jamaican.

I’ve said it before Jamaicans don’t like Jamaica . Not all but a lot , I’ve been to many parts of Europe and when I tell people I’m from jamaica it’s always met with a smile on their face, and like the young lady said they normally ask if I’ve ever seen Bolt or they tell me a Bob Marley song they like .
