I’ve been a fan of Rotella for a while. I have the T6 in now, but really love t4 (due to shared drivetrain). I don’t care for the t5.. but I can use it. Nice ride and glad you got the oil done.
@@jimredman3269 What's your height if you don't mind me asking? I'm around 5"8-5"9 and the F3 to my understanding comes with the long reach bars. It hurts riding after an hour trip.
Hi Greg, I had it on my Goldwing and already had the mount for the bars. It is Ram Mount. I am sure I got it from Amazon years ago. Can still just undo the ram and put it back on the Goldwing is a couple seconds. Same with the Tom Tom GPS. Just go to Amazon and search. "ram mount cup holder" It is great.
The original bars were far forward. Shoulders got sore stretch out. I put risers on my Goldwing as well and brought those bars back towards me. These do the same but more. I saw some great photos on Spyder Lovers. That is what convinced me to get them. If I fnnd them, I will post for you.

jim , i just installed the 41-162 wire harness on my 2016rt if this helps , the harness splits in 2 one for each light ,it has 5 wires to your trailer but one is green for ground. i connected the green to the green going to the battery and got a 4 wire for my trailer plug . there is a fuse on the red wire to the battery so i routed it under the seat where i can get to it .and yes i had to remove a bunch of plastic .
Uhhh, no video on the oil change? Jim, can you give specs on the two drain plugs and where you got them? I like the your oil selection, used the same on my Wing. Think I might let the dealer do the first oil change and check it out. Man, I like the short reach bars, gonna get some installed, they are already at the dealers, so got he has to fix the rear panels at the same time. Whoops, forget the drain plugs, I see you got them at Lamonster's.
Jim I currently ride a Harley Ultra Limited. It will probably be my last two wheeler. I've been looking at the videos and reading comments. I like the two wheel in front. It will come down to can am or a tilting motor works conversion. The fit and finish concerns on the can am concern me.
BRP only had fit and finish on the early 2020 models. I got one. Nothing is a safety issue. The will make it right. Some of mine was done during the install by the dealer. Mine was their first build. They will make that right as well, when they get parts. I looked at a blue one in the showroom after mine and it was all done correctly and no fit and finish issues.
We just changed my buddies 2020 RT limited to the f3 short reach bars. Was easy to do. Thanks for your video, was a major factor in going ahead with job. Pity that the dealers around here don't know about this.
No, I had to reach way back on the right side under the side cover. Had a tie wrap back out of reach. I reached in there with some really long needle nose pliers and twisted if off. Then pulled up from the handle bar area and got enough to get them on. Even had to pull some out that had tie wrap through the bar area.

I actually ordered my directly through BRP. I am sure they used a dealership to sent them out. I really like them. Very comfortable for me. I got my Hex Drain Plugs from Lamonster. Garage.

Where these the short reach or F3 handlebars you installed. They look like the come back alot. I'm 5'6" so not sure which ones to go for.
Yes, short reach, exact same handle bar set up as the F3 now on all 2020 and 2021 RT's

Those bars look good. Similar to my F3.

Will the Garmin Zumo XT be able to be mounted in the center of those handle bars it look narrow where they start up

Yes, the extra cord is ty wrapped under the side cover. Simple to clip and pull an extra length of cord.
