Honey your video is so inspiring and you are wise beyond your years. I want to tell you that in your time of need right now to just breathe and know that you are loved and thought of.
Hello!!, Ive just landed on your You Tube Channel. How wonderful of an Idea. I am new to the "Junk Journal" world. I cannot get enough. Im off to find part 2. Thank you for sharing your process. I get it! Sometimes it was never us, LOL We have always been beautiful and not the odd one, I really related to your comments, Thanks again
I’m tired of winter, too. We need a club! My version of a bullet journal is where i only put in a few, short sentences. Not too much information, short bites. This year, i’m switching it up. I’m writing in my journal just once or twice a week but use more collage and decoration. I like visual stimulation in my journals. It only took me decades to figure it out! Love this tutorial! I’m always in need of help, it seems.
Yes, I'm the same way when it comes to my creativity! When I was 17 years old my sister told me that I'm different, I'm 60 now. I'm also very in tune with my senses. Love this journal idea. I've been wanting to create only one too. Thanks for sharing. 💗🤗
I like bullet journaling for calendar and planning lists. The habit trackers become tedious. I LOVE the idea of planner in an old book. It makes the junk journaler in me smile. This book is amazing.
this is helping me so much, you cannot imagine! thank you for all you do and create. and yes, I know what you mean, about feeling different than people I know, who aren't creative in this sense... me wanting to sit for hours and play with paper, glue and fabric and laces... having a day job, it is just not possible... sometimes I feel, I don't get enough sleep, because the 24hrs in a day are just not enough. but of course everyone in this universe is creative... just not with vintage lovely items and books, papers, pictures, glue and lace or fabric and ribbon.... ha-ha-ha... all our favorite things....much love, m
I love this idea. I am not a planner either but I can see myself using this to remember events. I know what you mean about being very creative. Especially with most of my friends not being into it. Hard to explain. You are very visual and creative. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
I love to shop Goodwill and Salvation Army stores for clothing to cut up. I found two great suede cloth jackets for less than $3 ea. Also a great batik jacket. I find great books there too. They are $1.50 for hardbacks. I get that same brown paper at Home Depot....painter’s paper. Comes in a great shade of green also. I know what bullet journaling is but I’m retired so no schedule for me anymore.
Hi Heather! I have never used a planner (or kept up with it), but I really want to be more organized. I keep forgetting things, and my desk is a mess! I have a lot of old family pictures I would like to incorporate into the planner to remind me of old times while I am planning! Anyway, kind of a keepsake thingie. Thanks for the help. I love what you did here!
I don’t do bullet journaling, but I do keep a calendar to note things down during the month. And in turn I use what I write down for my smash booking! I have been smash booking from 2008 all the way to this current year! It’s really cool to go back and look at all the things that I’ve done over the years
That is very cool!! I love smash books. I always tend to do more art journals but they all have similar elements.. sounds like you found what you love!!
I love that you promote other creators (like Sam Poole) I have a few of Sam’s stamps (and I use to think that Sam was a boy) then I thought that Sam was just a company name. Now I find out that Sam is real, a girl, your friend, and has an Etsy shop. This day just keeps getting better….😂
I went on a big bullet journal binge last year. The whole nine, even mapped out my monthly 😱 and did an awesome feeling and mood wheel! Alas after having my fill (9 months later) I nearly completed my first one and never went back lol
Hi Heather! I made one of these books during Covid last year. I used the wallpaper i purchased from your shop on the cover as part of a collage. The book i used was very old too, and i reinforced the pages with masking tape because of the fragility of the threaded signatures. It's probably the only journal i actually used, and i think i did so because i made it. ha.
I love that geometric fabric! This turned out beautifully and I’m super inspired to make one! I’ve been dying to do an altered book just for a fun personal project, and I like how useful this is. Beautiful digi’s you’ve used too. I could watch you make stuff all day!
Such a great idea! Makes getting organized so appealing. I only kept a planner while I was in university...Maybe I’ll need to try it out! Thank you for the inspiration 🥰
Love the way you did the cover, the spine fabric is very art deco! I can never keep up with a bullet journal...just have a small purse calendar, not digital! 🥰
Marvellous idea, I love how your bujo is turning out and your word for this year is very apt (mine is grace) I've been doing my own version of bullet journaling for a few years now. Mine looks horrendous because I write so many lists and have too many ideas, but it is a great way to attempt some sort of organisation. The only real challenge, I find, is to remember to write in it 🤣💛🌼
I learned about “signatures” tearing pages out of magazines and catalogues. I didn’t know what they were called, I just knew I was annoyed when the “facing” page also fell out 🤣🤣
That’s what a bullet journal is; a list for planning. You basically make lists and mark what you have gotten done, etc. over the years the planning community has turned bullet journaling into “art planning”. A lot of planner gals feel discouraged because they can’t draw and think they must in order to bullet journal. Anyway, just a little insight into the bullet journal community and its drama. But all you have to do to bullet journal is make lists.
Anita, thank you for the information on the bullet journal website! That is so helpful!! I really love the concept and am intrigued by all the ways to keep a bullet journal. Not sure if I am disciplined enough, but I am going to ease into it and see where it goes! 💗💗
Hi Heather, are the French calendar pages you are using in this make still in your Etsy shop ?? I see a couple others, but this one is my favorite…don’t tell the other calendars 😔😔
Lovely idea, lovely book but in my opinion that geometric fabric kind of takes you out of the mojo know what I mean? it doesn’t seem to go with the beautiful softness of the inside of your book just my opinion not a criticism
Honey your video is so inspiring and you are wise beyond your years. I want to tell you that in your time of need right now to just breathe and know that you are loved and thought of.
You have the Midas touch. Instead of turning to gold, everything you touch turns to beauty.
❤️ Shirley
Just seeing this. Just love your work and creativity. Would love the calendar pages for 2023😊

Thank you for explaining why you feel different...I am the same kind of different as you...I love how this journal is from the very beginning...
Thank you so much!!! ❤❤❤

Ohh no!! Well that sounds pretty typical of life!! ❤❤❤
I love how you are creating this journal using an old book! Thank you so much for sharing my printables too :) xoxo
Thanks Sam! Love your printables 🙂
Heather it's turning out so well. I am in love with that bow on the cover - very dreamy.
Thank you so much!! I wasn't sure about the cover but the bow made me happy! Lol!
Coming along great. Very pretty. Take care. Karen.

I hope you try it out! I need to send you a bit of that fabric.. I can see it in one of your journals. Thanks Gabriela!! ❤❤❤
Such a great idea! Makes getting organized so appealing. I only kept a planner while I was in university...Maybe I’ll need to try it out! Thank you for the inspiration 🥰
I am hoping it will help me organize myself a bit! Lol! 💕❤ If it looks pretty, it might be fun!

Yes, that fabric is very art deco! I thought that too! And the book is from the 1920s so it is a perfect match 🥰 thank you!
Loving this so much...beautiful
Thank you!! ❤
💙 Ty Heather!
I love it !! I have to try this ! Thank you !

What kind of glue are you using? Does it work better than a glue stick? I'm just starting to work with paper.
Hi Tracy, I am using Fabri-tac glue.. it is a little expensive but great with paper. :)
Lovely idea, lovely book but in my opinion that geometric fabric kind of takes you out of the mojo know what I mean? it doesn’t seem to go with the beautiful softness of the inside of your book just my opinion not a criticism
