    Efforts appreciated.
    Sir you haven't took any considerations regarding one way/two way slab discrimination. So is the slab designed as one way or two way?? Also are the reinforcements in slab to be provided as bent up bars, if so then both side/Alternate B/up bars?? These details also needs to be provided i think.

      2 way and one way, u need to consider while u calculating BM by manual calculations. But here we find the BM using etabs analysis. So the BM finding is called analysis. Whether done by manual calculations or by software.
      So once we model our building, the system calculats the BM by FEM analysis in etabs and gives BM value. We just need to give the steel required for the obtained BM value.

      Bend up bars and all is provided. Because we need less steel near at bottom near ends when compared to centre of slab. As at centre sagging comes so steel at bottom needed more. And at ends hogging moment comes so more steel at top.
      So to avoid wastage of steel we bend to steel near ends to bring the steel to top face so it can be effective in taking the sagging moment. And also we need to provide less extra steel on top.

      Sir it would be great if you provide/teach how do we practically model sunk slabs( for toilet, balcony often provided) in etabs. Also sir you had not modeled staircase slab and staircase mid landing slab, mid landing beam etc. A tutorial covering full fledge design of a residential building /bungalow (G+1, G+2) would be great.

      @@fitwithshaik Also i feel in your previous tutorials, while defining materials you just forget to change the properties /value. As such fck, fy (for steel and concrete). Also while defining section properties as such for beams and columns, i think we forget to define its fixities as ( to specify a member whether to be designed as beam, design as column etc. ) Also is it okay to not apply earthquake loads as per IS code provisions for G+2, G+1 structures or is it mandatary.
      I am really sorry for hell lot of questions and queries. But a bit of confusion that ruins the whole task so i find it better to discuss rather skipping it.

      Haven't used safe. But I am sure that, etabs is one of the best of analysis and design of Buildings.

    how to provide hogging reinceforcement in slab by excel sheet

      The same way we calculate for sagging. U can calculate for hogging. Just give the Bending moment value. It doesn't matter whether it's sagging or hogging while calculating the reinforcement. Wat matters is how we give the reinforcement in actual construction, that is we give sagging reinforcement at bottom of slab. And for hogging at top of the slab.
