      I like Yurov a ton, and he's of of those that justtttttt missed the honorable mentions.
      Kind of like Snuggerud in the way that he creates a lot of offense from his defensive habits, we'll see how far that takes him in NA!

    I really feel like you underrate Nikishin’s value.
    If his potential was believed to be middle pairing he would’ve already been traded for something. Carolina views him as the future 1D with Slavin

    I feel like Danila Yurov should have been on this list. Dude won the KHL championship, and broke Tarasenko's record.

      Yurov and Nikishin should both be Top 15 and should be ahead of Simashev and But.

      ​@finalguildis development isn't guaranteed. Demidov could be great but could also struggle to make the jump.
      Yurov has proven himself vs men and will be in the NHL in 14 months.

      For me he'll be a solid D for Montreal for a long time, no denying that from me!
      I just prefer the ceilings of the guys I listed here, I don't quite see the same dominant upside in Reinbacher, but I hope he proves me wrong!

    It’s a fun time to be a Sharks fan. I was annoyed at first that they passed on Buium, but Grier wants to make the team bigger and stronger. Dickinson seems like a good fit. Hopefully Haltuunen and Dickinson continue their chemistry to the NHL.

    If Washington can make the playoffs Ryan Leonard will join. Could be a huge wildcard and really help them out. Especially if they're struggling offensively.

      @@GravitehHockey I'm hoping we end up with Hensler with our pick and Trethewey with FV's. That said, based on current rankings and expectations of where the Sharks are going to finish (bottom five), Hensler would be a reach. Hopefully he plays his way into picking him there not being a reach.

      I had him ranked #14 in my final rankings, I do really like the kid and you could obviously see the potential!
      But if I ranked him on this list it would've meant I change my opinion on him only because of where he was drafted, which I just wouldn't do. But absolutely would make a top 50, and he could be in for a big next season!

      @@marcbabineau6001”all he does is snipe” how i know you’ve never watched him play. Dude is an elite playmaker as well. He’s got the best hands in this entire list. He’s very agile and can get around defenders easy. He pulled off a Michigan goal in a world junior game against Sweden. He’s one of the most skilled players I’ve ever watched and he’s only 19.

    Something that i noticed during the SJ sharks prospect scrimmage is that Smith and Celebrini play at different speeds. Smith attacked like a cobra strike. Celebrini slowed the game down and made the defense collapse.. while he controlled the tempo.(Reminds me of Joe Thornton)
    Having that change up in game pace on a 1st and 2nd line is so intriguing.

    Not having Reinbacher at least in the Honorable Mentions is probably something not to sleep on. This guy is incredibly talented and underrated. *Not coming from a Montreal Canadiens fan*

      I agree, hes very underrated and solid on the ice and I think if he becomes a top pairing defenseman for Montreal, he will prove the haters wrong that only look at his stats and not what he does on the ice.

      I think he'll be a solid dependable D for Montreal for a long time, I just prefer the ceilings of the other players and D on the list, but he'll be perfect in his role!

    Honestly when you look at it, Michkov so far has proved the most besides Logan Stanloven of your Stars, he's played in the KHL which is right next to the NHL because of the tough and brutal players which leads me to think his production will translate the best and will improve the best over these other guys with what we've seen of him. This may change by next year but for now, 19 year old Michkov has to be #1.

Michkov is just a different kind of passer who just lean more toward his vision and the fact he thinks the game 2, 3 steps ahead of his oponents.. that attribute is Supreme and all those traits makes him a future top line franchise winger lock if all continue to go in the right direction for him honestly guys you're fool

    Michkov is currently the best prospect in the world… ppl seem to forget he was the consensus 2nd overall pick last year. He played on a terrible team in the KHL and still put up great numbers all while his dad died and was ill half the year. Definitely better than demidov…

Michkov pulled off Michigan goals in world junior games against Sweden and Czech. He’s the most skilled prospect I’ve ever watched. And he’s not like Zegras where he just is good for Michigans.

    Please do a video on the free agents heading into next season and whether they’ll sign with their team or not. I know there’s a few obvious players that’ll be re signed but they’re a few players that are questionable and I’d like to hear your opinion.

    Love Demidov, but let's be honest. Michkov should be ahead if him and possibly Celebrini. Just a few years ago before the Russia/Ukraine nonsense Michkov and Bedard were the future of the NHL. Before Michkov signed his KHL contract it was up in the air who was better considering Michkov played better internationally

    Based top 10, the lack of sample size of Demidov over Mitchkov at the KHL level tends to influence people take, but If you really analize their game you can give an edge to Demidov

      @@user-ed6nt1ml6p better in scoring yes, but look at a kucherov for exemple he scores an average of 30-35 goals per year but has 80-100 assist. Now would you pick Stamkos over Kucherov ? If yes your opinion doesnt matter

Michkov is absolutely an offensive dynamo but his inexperience shows on his defensive assignments. He can absolutely improve there, but there does need to be some improvement. Nikishin however seems to have the complete package put together now and he's 22.

    Yeah I’m definitely higher on Yurov and Nikishin than a lot of that back quarter of the list, I think new bright and shiny in lower leagues shouldn’t out weigh a lower drafted prospect that has shown the ability to take on bigger roles and produce at higher leagues.

    I’m still super upset as a Sharks fan that Grier picked Smith over Michkov… I totally agree with and support Dickinson over Buium though.
    Having said that, Smith should be a solid 2C for years to come, so not the end of the world.

      i don’t think michkov wanted to play for the sharks. it’s said that he didn’t even show up to interviews. i would much rather have a player like smith who wants to play for the sharks. also he won’t just be a “solid 2C” he could be one of the best 2Cs in the league. smith is an unbelievable player.

      Saying that’s not even close between Michkov and Demidov is just wrong. Saying that Michkov is a better prospect is fair tho because he is older and proven against men. So yeah Michkov is probably the better prospect right now, but very close imo. And for Celebrini, he is a complete center prospect with 90 pts potential compared to a offense only winger prospect with 100 pts potential… so the center is (to me) more valuable and overall better.

      @@olivierbergeron2610 michkov will put up 50 and 50 at least 5 times in his career and probably hit 60 he’s the next great goal scorer in the nhl a one man offence like a pastrnak. And I would rather have a guy who can drive my offence and score goals in every way possible and potentially be the best goal scorer in the nhl one day. You can find two way centers in every draft class you don’t find generational goal scoring talent like michkov and let’s not act like celebrini is barkov he’s good defensively but there are other guys who can do what he does every year at a lower level yes but im saying if im building a team im taking the generational player over the star

Demidov played in the mhl in his draft year michkov played in the khl in his draft year it’s not like they were on the same level at the same age when they weren’t at all michkov in has draft -1 year was putting up pretty close to demidov stats in his draft year

      Michkov also scored at over a goal per game pace while he was in the mhl something Demidov never did in any league. Hes the next great goalscorer he will be a 50 goal scorer and honestly hit 60 if Philly builds around him Demidov will be a superstar but michkov is a generational talent. People just don’t hear about it as much because he lives in Russia and you can’t even watch a lot of his games

    Michkov is the best prospect in hockey I’m sorry. His stats are incredibly stronger than Demidov (And all the credit to him he has high skill) but Michkov is generational and has the stats to prove it.

      @LETZGONHLdraft yeah is that how you judge players? Cristall had to carry his team he only had Iginla who didn’t even play 5v5 with him and Price who’s decent nobody else. Cowan played for probably the most best team in the CHL with Dickinson Bonk Haltunen O’Rielly Barkey and Gazizov. They scored on average a goal more every game than Kelowna as well. If you compare the offensive talent and tools you will see it ain’t close

      @@SirManfly For sure! I'm super happy with Levshunov as Chicago's pick since they definitely needed a right sided defender (which i know makes no sense haha) but its more like fomo I guess. Who knows whats going to happen but if Demidov does turn out to be a 80 point plus player like it seems he will be it'll just be tough. Still I will not be sad about getting a (hopefully) really good defender!
