Just watched all your Ren reaction videos! So glad you didn’t dismiss him when you first watched HiRen🙌💚 Please can you react to Ren - Losing It (Fisher rap retake) & Ren - What You Want Also you have to check out his band - The Big Push Specifically these songs- I shot the sheriff/Road to Zion War pigs & Praise you 💚 love the channel! You have a new subscriber!! X
Look at you two trying to jump ahead and mess up the surprise ending for yourselves! Yes, Ren is a Master Storyteller and Songwriter and Actor, and not a bad Guitarist too. All live - all in single takes. So great to see pure talent that's not done over multiple takes in studio or 'electronically enhanced'. So sick of all the slick fakers and over-produced crap. Ren is also a great role model about finding your own talent and believing in yourself, sticking to your dream and pushing through all obstacles. 🤩😍
I actually liked the whole stopping and trying to connect the dots. It shows a certain intellect to try to process rather than just keep going. I love the reaction
parts 1 and 2 are based on a true story, Ren read an article several years prior to their creation about a 14 year old boy stabbing a young prostitute, and was later killed by police. The article ended with the quote, "It's such a shame". Ren wanted to bring awareness to the way we hear these awful stories on the daily, call it a shame, and go about our days. So, in 2019, he took some liberties and personified them. Jenny got her high heeled shoes, and screech got his knife. He made both tracks circle back to the beginning to signify how it happens over and over, and ending each part with that same quote, It's such a shame. A couple of years later, he wrote Violets tale. Purely fictional, but true to the originals forms, it too circles back. He added the 2005 to stay true to Screech's age in the originals, and not only circled back the song, but the entire saga as well. Even the characters themselves. Screech took the traits of the father, drugs and violence and even the panic after the fact, while jenny, a prostitute, took the several forms of abuse, and her mother's silence.
I know Ren draws us in and is very convincing but that's not true I'm afraid. He read a short tabloid piece about a 14 year old boy killing a young woman. That's it. Nothing about a prostitute. The boy wasn't shot dead. It's all Ren's imagination. He started thinking about what would drive a 14 year old boy to do something like that and wondering what life both the boy and victim had. His imagination, musical talent and lyrical genius took over and another Ren masterpiece was born. :)
Great reaction again. Loved how you kept us in suspense. Everyone was afraid that you would not watch the end. Lol. Fortunately, I already read the other comments and was prepared; yet, the delay was still suspenseful. Ren's newest song, "Murderer," just dropped today and it is fire. Looking forward to you guys reacting to it.
It's always a treat watching people experience the mind-fuck of this trilogy, and actually seeing the gears moving behind your eyes was a treat with a cherry on top! As with all the Ren-reactions of yours I've watched - A+! You're greatly appreciated, and I hope you know that. xoxo From STHLM, Sweden
You need to do The Big Push - I shot the sheriff/road to Zion/hip hop. It’s Rens band and is amazing. They did loads more but that really shows off his talent 🖤
Thanks guys for the entertainment, the funniest, most pointless discussion I have ever heard, and only 30-40 seconds away from it all making sense! Classic❤
I'd heard the same but it makes no sense. The damage on the front of the guitar looks like it's from an impact and in Money Game the guitar was scraped along the ground as it was placed back side down.
@ChrisLawton66 not when he leaned in and suddenly grabbed Romain, Ren had him tilted back and you could hear several strings nearly break from the abrupt move.
Makes me laugh when so many US reactors think it’s weird that Ren imitates a trumpet with his mouth at the start, yet will happily listen to US mumble c-rappers making just noises instead of rhymes! 😂😂
Here’s the video that explains a little bit more about the tales. Ren can be found in the comments section of the video giving us more details about his release: th-cam.com/video/BICvZAS1FR0/w-d-xo.html
Ren definitely draws you in but it's not a true story. :) Ren read a sort paragraph in a newspaper about a woman being killed by a 14 year old boy. That's it. That's as much as is real. He started thinking about what could lead a 14 year old boy to do that. His imagination and lyrical and musical genius kicked in and yet another Ren masterpiece is the result! Btw, he was playing with the idea of a medieval bard, hence the style of the piece overall and all those classical and medieval licks on the guitar. This particular style of his has been dubbed 'bardcore'. :) Though, as you know, he covers and mixes up, numerous different genres including rock, reggae, punk, rap, hip-hop, soul, dance/edm, folk, blues and jazz. He does them all and does them all brilliantly. It helps that he lays down all his own music/beats, producing everything himself. Also by the fact that he has an amazing singing voice, capable of multiple styles and tones. He beatboxes really well and is a world-class rapper. His songwriting skills are off the chart, as is his lyricism. He's a poet really. Oh... and he's a ridiculously talented multi-instrumentalist. Acoustic and electric guitar, bass, ukulele, mandolin, piano/keyboard and drums - all played at a ridiculously high standard. He also plays several other instruments pretty well too! To top it all, he's entirely self-taught in everything above. :) What's more, he's done all this whilst suffering from extremely debilitating and incurable chronic illnesses and a whole plethora of other medical conditions. He's pretty remarkable really! :)
Yeah Violet was the mum, she died, the twins were separated after birth in the system, they never met until the night he killed his sister and then died. Violets tale set in 2005, Jenny and Screech were 14, it happened in 2019. Not a true story though.
I was so scared that you would google before listening. Any how its a real story of Jenny and Screech but Violet was later added by ren. But the two separate story actually took place. A 2 0 0 5 story
That was painful! Also what a bizarre reaction from the guy on the right. First thing he said after the big reveal "so that was a true story"? Like whatever, completely irrelevant!!
True story...written from an article Ren read in a mewspaper. Twins seperated at birth because of the violent circumstances. So didn't know each other. And a commentary on the cycle of violence repeated by those who grow up in a violent enviroment.
Just watched all your Ren reaction videos! So glad you didn’t dismiss him when you first watched HiRen🙌💚
Please can you react to Ren - Losing It (Fisher rap retake)

Everyone yelling at you, JUST WATCH THE LAST 40 SECONDS, GET OFF YOUR PHONE!! I thought for sure you were going to spoil the twist lol
🤣🤣🤣💯 me too
Same. Lmao
Exactly this, I was actually getting angry at you, cos I knew if you watched it, you would get it! Well done in the end!
I could swear, they were trolling us 😂
Yes I just did, put down the Phone, just listen, 😅❤❤
The last five minutes of this reaction was literally the most insanely frustrating experience of my life...thank you???😂😂🤣🤣
The will-they-or-won’t-they-spoil-it tension was so much more intense than the plot twists
RIGHT? Making me nuts. 😂😂😂

Generational trauma is the theme. Great reaction!! I love how deep into you guys got 😂. Love it
And that's why Jenny couldn't stop looking at Screech. Familiar.
I loved your two faces during this. You were mesmerised.👍
You need to do The Big Push - I shot the sheriff/road to Zion/hip hop. It’s Rens band and is amazing. They did loads more but that really shows off his talent 🖤

Great reaction guys. Was fun watching you work it out. 🙏🏽
I heard somewhere that chip in the guitar happened in money game 1 when he was drawing eyes on the bag man
I'd heard the same but it makes no sense. The damage on the front of the guitar looks like it's from an impact and in Money Game the guitar was scraped along the ground as it was placed back side down.

This a really great reaction. Subbed.

Sounds like you completely missed the "we must rewind the hands of time for Violet's Tale" line.
Yeah Violet was the mum, she died, the twins were separated after birth in the system, they never met until the night he killed his sister and then died. Violets tale set in 2005, Jenny and Screech were 14, it happened in 2019. Not a true story though.
the chapters of jenny and screech is (based on) true, violet was not.

Everyone ignores the rewinding of time
Yes. Violet the mother…. 😢

Great reaction guys! Please listen to Ren's new song 'Murderer' next, it's a banger :D

That was painful! Also what a bizarre reaction from the guy on the right. First thing he said after the big reveal "so that was a true story"? Like whatever, completely irrelevant!!
