So basically an Alternator was converted to a PMG (permanent magnet generator) with no output voltage or frequency control . As the 9V battery voltage drops from running the motor the motor rpms will slow down reducing the output frequency and voltage (Volts per Hertz ) . The light bulbs being a resistive load aren't dependent on frequency like an AC motor or transformer would be. This is not some electrical break through as some posting seem to think .

You should try to plugging the wire from the motor into the socket, so it can power its self up. If it don't start, just spin the belt, so it can start conducting.
I built a water reservoir to drive a turbine connected to a generator which drove a motor with a fan on it pointed at a wind turbine which directly operated a mechanical pump to lift the water back into the reservoir. The water went green and smelly after a while and mum made me chuck it in the bin. Good times.

No, actually persistent current or perpetual current as some people might call it is impossible or we wouldn’t have to charge electric vehicles. We can’t fully harness electricity because there’s always going to be a loss of AC/DC current in the form of heat. @Frank Blackcrow hey mate they also do them in a 12v version ( alternators) , the vid is BS as it cannot work like it is constructed there are several contradictions when it comes to what parts are used , the electric motor is too small and the battery supply is still way too small even with 2 in parallel the magnets in the rotor of the alternator could work if all the magnets are correctly fitted but when he connects the globes there will never be enough output power to run them due to the drive motor and batteries being way too small to work , the builder will have a hidden power connection to power the bulbs , not even a new idea either

@Frank Blackcrow You have it backwards. An alternator inverts the AC to produce voltage regulated 12V or 24V. He removed diode bridge rectifier and voltage regulator to allow the voltage to be magnified by the N52 Magnets. The issue is that the rotor has 12-poles. This means that if the DC motor is not 500 RPM then this is fake for sure, since he needs 50 Hz AC.
If or when an alternator will start to produce electricity it would inevitably heated up. And as a result the hot glue can be melted or at least softened.
Plenty of videos are like this one. They can get high voltage, but you never see the amps! A few light bulbs is all, and you cannot see of that load strains/slowing down the motor.

I am trying to build this alternator but am having problems with the alternator.Here is what happened...when I took the rotor out,two contacts came up,I think they are called brushes.When I wanted to put the rotor back in,they blocked the process. I had to fix the brushes with a piece of tape to put it back in the old place.now I have a tape on the contacts and the generator does not work.how did you solve the problem?thanks for your answer
Where can I buy those wonderful batteries? They are delivering at least 15 amps. I would only need a dozen of them to power my 50 ton log truck, and it looks like they should last for at least 6 months. Maybe I should do a video on it? ( Before the men in white coats take me back to the funny farm ). Might get one of those drive belts too. Good for a tow rope when the truck gets stuck in the mud. At 2:09. That assumes 100% electrical and mechanical efficiency of conversion. At 230volts it's only 1.3 amps flowing through those bulbs to produce 300W. So if each 9V battery has the same internal resistance, divide 33.33 by 2, because they are wired in parallel, and you get 16.67 amps. I checked the numbers on my Polish calculator. Still came out the same. Once you factor in the losses from the belt drive, heat, friction, noise etc., that 16.67 would be around 25 amps. At 500 mAh per battery, how many seconds do you think they would last for?

Disculpa yo estuve viendo el video, pero si le pone un transformador de esa corriente alterna y le saca 12 vol. De continua y le pone una llave o un relé que cuando empiece a generar corriente pase para la continua tendría un generador perpetuo así que no sé si generaría esto sería un invento fabuloso

notice how the little motor isn't bogged down at all when he hooks up some dead short light bulbs to it also, and how the power bar has obvious flathead screwdriver marks on it indicating he took it apart, probably a battery inside of it. XD
This is a proof of concept of turning an alternator into a generator with a simple modification. Exactly the same happens in car, with the engine spinning the rotor and some of the battery's energy being consumed to excite the armature coils. There is no need for a small battery - in this use case, the permanent magnets are being loaded on the armature, and that in turn induces energy in the stator to alleviate the need for a battery to excite the armature. How is this "Stable " 220v 50 hz ? As the 9volt battery voltage decays from driving the motor the output voltage and frequency will also drop .
You can also without battery, just use the AC motor and plug it into the power outlet.

@Frank Blackcrow hey mate they also do them in a 12v version ( alternators) , the vid is BS as it cannot work like it is constructed there are several contradictions when it comes to what parts are used , the electric motor is too small and the battery supply is still way too small even with 2 in parallel the magnets in the rotor of the alternator could work if all the magnets are correctly fitted but when he connects the globes there will never be enough output power to run them due to the drive motor and batteries being way too small to work , the builder will have a hidden power connection to power the bulbs , not even a new idea either

@Frank Blackcrow You have it backwards. An alternator inverts the AC to produce voltage regulated 12V or 24V. He removed diode bridge rectifier and voltage regulator to allow the voltage to be magnified by the N52 Magnets. The issue is that the rotor has 12-poles. This means that if the DC motor is not 500 RPM then this is fake for sure, since he needs 50 Hz AC.
If or when an alternator will start to produce electricity it would inevitably heated up. And as a result the hot glue can be melted or at least softened.

Plenty of videos are like this one. They can get high voltage, but you never see the amps! A few light bulbs is all, and you cannot see of that load strains/slowing down the motor.

I am trying to build this alternator but am having problems with the alternator.Here is what happened...when I took the rotor out,two contacts came up,I think they are called brushes.When I wanted to put the rotor back in,they blocked the process. I had to fix the brushes with a piece of tape to put it back in the old place.now I have a tape on the contacts and the generator does not work.how did you solve the problem?thanks for your answer

Where can I buy those wonderful batteries? They are delivering at least 15 amps. I would only need a dozen of them to power my 50 ton log truck, and it looks like they should last for at least 6 months. Maybe I should do a video on it? ( Before the men in white coats take me back to the funny farm ). Might get one of those drive belts too. Good for a tow rope when the truck gets stuck in the mud.

How did you come up with 50 amps?? I suspected 300 watts max, those bulbs can't be over 50 watts 230 volt?? IMO.
@@richardldziadek191 Dzień dobry Richard. I wrote 15, piętnaścienot, not 50 amps. Working on 300W. Divide by 9 volts to get 33.33 amps. That assumes 100% electrical and mechanical efficiency of conversion. At 230volts it's only 1.3 amps flowing through those bulbs to produce 300W. So if each 9V battery has the same internal resistance, divide 33.33 by 2, because they are wired in parallel, and you get 16.67 amps. I checked the numbers on my Polish calculator. Still came out the same. Once you factor in the losses from the belt drive, heat, friction, noise etc., that 16.67 would be around 25 amps. At 500 mAh per battery, how many seconds do you think they would last for?

Disculpa yo estuve viendo el video, pero si le pone un transformador de esa corriente alterna y le saca 12 vol. De continua y le pone una llave o un relé que cuando empiece a generar corriente pase para la continua tendría un generador perpetuo así que no sé si generaría esto sería un invento fabuloso

This is a proof of concept of turning an alternator into a generator with a simple modification. Exactly the same happens in car, with the engine spinning the rotor and some of the battery's energy being consumed to excite the armature coils. There is no need for a small battery - in this use case, the permanent magnets are being loaded on the armature, and that in turn induces energy in the stator to alleviate the need for a battery to excite the armature. At least he's not claiming "free energy" like the other bastards littering You(fucking)Tube !!

Además para tener en cuenta este alternador es de 12 polos, si no me equivoco, que dependiendo de la velocidad a qué se haga girar el rotor, la frecuencia será muy alta
El bobinado está calculado para unos 18 VAC, desconozco el valor exacto, pero es para cargar baterías de 12 VDC. De dónde creen ustedes, sin transformador, sin inversor, se obtienen justo 220 V a 50 Hz?

you can but it will not last.
put an extra dc motor, capacitor, flywheel (good size weight) it will run much much longer as the capacitor provides dc to run those small motors.
