    This is brilliant! Thank you for posting this. I tend to collect broken devices for their electronic components but will always keep an eye out to harvesting magnets as well. Now to watch your project videos for practical use cases.

    I have pulled magnets out of old hard drives. They are very strong. I sometimes use them to find tiny screws that I have dropped on the floor. You can use some of the smaller ones inside sockets to hold nuts that you can't reach by hand. I forgot about the other places to get magnets like speakers, etc. Thanks for the video.

      Great idea with the sockets. You could glue a magnet to the tip of an adapter since the socket it's hollow.

    Thanks for the info. I was looking to see if there was an easier process to get neos out of speaker cups... The medium to big ones. After using acetone to dissolve the glue I end up having to use a hacksaw to cut the back off or another stronger magnet on the front and a flat head to pry and keep it on the magnet without getting sucked back in to the cup.

    • @Yonatan24
      @Yonatan24  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I usually use a screwdriver which breaks the magnet sometimes. They're usually glues with CA glue which is quite brittle so a few blows with a hammer might suffice. I've never tried acetone but that's a good idea.
