    Thank you PBS for sharing these families' plights. It's easier living in America, but certainly not taking away from their hardships with their journeys trying to find a better life here in Minnesota, America.

    Brings tears to my eyes, when I hear about oppression from the Burmese and the eventual war between Knyaw Poe in 1994, KNU vs DKBA. Reminds me of my people 🇰🇭, Khmer Republic vs Khmer Rouge.

    How can i get in contact with Taw Taw Wah? I would like to speak with her as well as i have just came back from a refugee camp in Thailand on the Burma border. I would like to share the stories of of the Karen people coming to America as well. It’s truly amazing and i pray for their country. If she sees this or anybody she knows please contact me thank you very much
