This is a multiple choice test of the DMV Written Test that covers road signs, road rules and traffic laws. This practice test will prepare you for the DMV permit exam. I took the test last month and passed. For those who are wondering, this video is almost identical to the actual test. Most of it is common sense anyways, but if you want to be extra prepared, I recommend taking practice quizzes online. Good luck everybody! :D

@@marydet815 I haven’t taken the test yet and will take the test in a couple of days and this video is helping me A LOT but if you want to take quizzes and etc well check the App Store for DMV Test or what my friends uses (they passed already) CDL Test Genie. All my friends told me to watch a lot of videos like this and to be extra prepared then use the app and do as much quizzes you can and they told me a lot of questions are very common sense. I hope that helps
It’s been a very horrific story for me😢 I don’t know why I don’t have luck whenever it comes to getting my test it’s either I’m with a bad supervisor or I’m just the one with the problem, I have failed my test thrice now and I was fed up not until I was told to hire a test drive professional who could help me skip the test and get my license which I did and I got my license now.
Wow that’s a very sad story , sounds as if we both be in the same shoes I been unlucky twice and I’m actually fed up tbh 😵how can I hire a test drive professional please?

I passed my 1st exam in DMV with a perfect score yesterday. I haven't drive my entire life in philippines so,, Let me share my technique.
1. I read my handbook
2. I studied all the signs
3. I don't rush, I read carefully my exam, skip the difficult one, and answers all the easier questions. I make sure to get all the right answers and reserve the difficult one in the end.
4. I go to TH-cam, practicing answering the exams, like this one, watching test driving, Be resourceful.

Guys always study the book 1-2 days before the test and an hour or two before the scheduled time the day of your test. Best way to keep that info sealed and locked

I can’t read the book at all because of my adhd, it’s literally the most BORING and DRY book over ever read😭 it literally bores a HOLE through my skull. I know it’s not supposed to be interesting it’s just a focus thing I can’t focus on it for shit so I feel screwed over but I’ll just try to take millions of practice tests and watch videos instead.

EDIT: Just now seeing this and overwhelmed with the responses. Congratulations to everyone who passed and good luck to those taking the test soon! My advice is in addition to studio this video, to look at your state's dmv manual bcuz tht has the source of what you need to know. Also take practice tests for your state, I don't recommend purchasing anything fancy for you to pass bcuz it would be a waste of money imo. Crazy to think we're all trying to get our permit/license during a pandemic, but it'll be cool story to tell in the future. We got this!

There were a few questions on my test that was not online but thank God with a little common sense I did it. Study , Study, Study.
I got my license at age 49 (3 years ago). I did it and you guys can do it too. Good luck!
also passed...but i just dont see the point of the written test. hardly anyone follows the rules in nyc. i see people running red lights constantly, turning on red, u turns on double yellow lines, not signalling. then there's the nonsense things...nobody even cares about how many feet it is to whatever it is, UNLESS its a hydrant. most of those dmv questions are quite literally pointless. when you are driving, you are always on edge, and the last thing you think about is how many feet you forgot to count before something.. nobody cares and nobody counts. this is just dumb. most of the time it's bumper to bumper traffic, every. single. day. and with all the complete lawlessness in nyc, we now have street races every night waking us up.
@@BobRooney290 I know, it's crazy. I always say to my husband, I don't know how people got their license because so many people don't follow the rules. Traveling on the highway doing the required speed limit but still folks run up behind you. I'm a patient driver so I always move out of their way if I can do it safely. SAME I can’t read the handbook for absolute SHIT because of my goddamn adhd. That book must have been written by a robot because it’s literally boring a HOLE through my skull. I just have to watch videos and do millions of practice tests🙄, oh well different brain issue same annoying setbacks😭.
I didn't realize the test would be so damn easy. I watched this video at 2 times speed -- pause when you need to -- and passed with 100% before I arrived (I have ADD so it's not my memory I relied on, the test can be passed with common sense and a few minutes of study). You have 3 skips so just use them when you encounter questions you can't rationalize from process of elimination. All you have to do is score an 80%. After you watch this video, it'll be hard to pass below 90%, and even if you do, you're still likely to pass because you have another 10% error buffer! One important tip: take your time. If it takes you 20 minutes to maintain a perfect score so anxiety doesn't kick in, so be it. The test isn't timed (at least my test wasn't) and there is a counter that shows how many questions were answered incorrectly at the bottom of the test screen. I won't be wishing you luck because you won't need it :)

I got my driving licensed in NY back in 2013 and it was snowing and new to country. I was happy that I passed it 😄
I just did my written test today in California, many of the questions from this video were either the same or slight variations, plus a few ones not mentioned but extremely easy to answer anyway. I failed one question, apparently you can legally turn on your headlights up to 30 minutes after sunset. The computer test flags all the wrong answers (if any) right on the spot so you can count the mistakes you make in real time. You can also skip 3 questions for free. This test is really easy if you read the DMV manual and this video at least once, as it covers enough material (if not all). I saw other videos on youtube but they were not even close to the real test, at least for mid 2021, just stick to the dmv manual and this video.

Omg 😳 I passed. Hello everyone I am from Canada and I did my test on paper and I passed. I got 30/30 and I prefer paper better then online but everyone is different😊 make sure you study from the book because they give questions from the book only and do few online practice questions but most of the questions will be coming from the book.

Like this test for going over many traffic questions without lengthy explanations of why the correct answer is the right one. The answers are given quickly and although some were repeated, it keeps you on your toes. Didn't get 100% but did far better then expected. The ones I missed just makes me aware that I am not a perfect driver and now am more aware, and will drive more carefully.

It helped. Lol. The test is random and you never get the same questions on repeat tests. It helps to drill even tho it's common sense & observation, mostly. Trust yourself & knowledge & just think about the other people on the road & how you WANT people to drive. Lol

The test is easy if you study and keep doing online test some questions are kind of dumb and confusing but long as you study you’ll be fine cuz I was panicking and hella nervous
Yes, practice and study and you shall pass without a problem.
In virginia, our learners permit exam has alot of really specific law related questions that are so oddly specific that theyre my own section of studying however these videos help me quite a bit with the actual driving parts however my learners test uses different wording so I rely heavily on pictures to learn concepts and practice. I feel like i am studying every single law in my state to past this test ive failed once before

After 2 fails I finally got my license! It's pretty easy for the evaluator to fail you for simple mistakes so keep your head up if it happens. Failure doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad driver. Keep practicing and go at it again. You're bound to get someone who believes in you. But for me I took a step further by contacting a private license and professional dmv agent that helped me to write a provisional letter to bypass the test drive and i was given a provisional driver's license which will last for 12 months. I got a license now and it will serve for 1 year then I renew again.
My little advice.
* If you think are too nervous for the test drive then you can easily switch to a provisional driver's license which you won't need to test drive.

Any one noticed that at 1:01:58 the question does not match any of the answers?
"You may drive across a dashed white line:
A: come to a complete stop.
B: honk their horn before passing the bus on its left.
C:pass the bus before it's door opens."
Anyone else? Make sense??

@@taliban_6268 I went to the driving school study guide and studied it. I also took various tests from my state and did research. Basically, find at least 2-3 tests, and reread one main study guide.
