Not a bad statement from somebody for whom English is not their native language. However, the original wasn't that much better, it's just laden with 80s/90s nostalgia vibes and better music. But yes, I think this one can compete with the original. They're on the same level. Swayze was decent but it wasn't his best role. The original had all kinds of cheesy elements, not sure why it's considered some pinnacle of entertainment. It's just another action flick, like this remake.
In the original the main thug was actually menacing and believable as a psychopath. In this remake Connor McGregor is a buffoon and doesn’t project a lot of intimidation

Scriptwriter destroyed the legendary character of ‘Roadhouse’. I think Conor Mcgregor career as UFC fighter is over. Terrible acting of Conor Mcgregor. Terrible direction, terrible stunt direction.
