I love this song and this guy is one of my greatest influences. Pity there's no David Torn solo as in the original. I think David sees himself as an Orpheus like character.
Saw him do this in hammy oden London with Mark isham on trumpet and flugelhorn , Mark isham is the massive difference in this song. It's a watered down version without him!

Nietzsche can be found here- a certain lyrical Nihilism, or Camus's Stranger- and somehow so hopeful in reflection that I can start -the work too-. . of shooting at the sun. .if listener and singer are kindred spirits. its my autobiography, I guess I paid attention to fashioning myself - in character all these years.
