You, how farms work and onelonelyfarmer make really great farming content.. I love farming just my parents made the choice to live in the city, one day I'll have a farm. But I love yalls content.
prolly had just a touch of surface rust on the sides from sitting over winter making the hay catch and build up on the sides, after it gets to running it polishes back up and flows smoother if that makes sense, my vermeer will do the same thing first time out, usually 1-2 bales and its better, nice job
+Dan Whiteford. Lol. I always worry about my camera when I can't see it from the tractor. Its got a good strong magnet on it but if something hits it, it will knock it off. That was some really nice hay!
Perhaps it might be wise to think about adding a lightweight safety lanyard that can be tied to both the camera and a safe connection point on the machine?
The Smatree batteries and other accessories on amazon are just as good as the regular gopro products and about half the price, I run the smatree with no problems
Hi! What makes you decide for round or square bales? Is it just what the customer wants or what machine is available, or the product you're baling? Thank you and have jolly good harvests!
+2xKTfc. It has to do with how steep the land is, field access, weather, and sometimes clover content. Rule of thumb is square bale it if possible, but sometimes it not possible because of the things I've listed above. I have a good buyer for round hay, but I only get half as much money for the same amount of hay when it's round baled.
+Ronald Stephens. I use what is called net wrap and the baler wraps the bales with it automatically when it gets full, it's much better at holding the bales together and more weather resistant than just putting string on them. If I get a chance I will make a video of it, its stored away for this year though.
When they went to the four-digit numbering system, did the baler sizes change much? We run a BR740 and it makes a 4x5 bale. is the BR7060 a 4x5, or a 4x6 baler?
DLH Farms Gotcha. We run an 03 model BR740 which is the same size bale as yours. We've had our fair share of troubles and "learning curve" moments with it in the 3 seasons we've run it. I'll tell ya one thing though, it's SO much nicer than the 847 that it replaced! lol
+Josh Cage. There is no comparison really the T5.120 rides much better than the T4. I don't have front suspension but I have the suspended cab and loader suspension.
DLH Farms apparently u never ran a deere. all I know is everyone in our area that had a 740 or 7060 traded them for a Deere or Kuhn. u don't bale wet enough hay to hay wrapping and plugging trouble. I saw in one of your vids hay shooting out the top of the baler. everyone iv seen run has done the same. Not trying to be a dick but New Holland hay equipment has taken a major down hill turn
+Jeremy Freeman. Actually I have run a deere, always having belt problems and bearing failures. Sorry buddy your not going to convince me, I know several poeple that bale silage with the silage special just like mine with little to no problems. As far as the hay shooting out the top, like I said in the video that's the only time it's done it and it hasn't done it since. It was because it was the first use this year and there was dust on the belts, as soon as the dust wore off it has baled the same as it always has flawlessly. Also the guy that buys my hay likes the NH bales over the JD bales.
Pretty cool shots with the cam , watching the baker in action! Thanks for the videos.
+Jayson Zimmerman. Your welcome, thanks for watching!

+Cheese Craig. Thanks! I'll keep doing what I'm doing, as long as you keep watching! Lol
Great videos bro, you do a great job on your videos and love your New Holland equipment ! Coming from a New Holland dealer in Texas.

Nice video.
Looking forward to seeing your accumulator again.
+Chuck Stevenson. It won't be long until you see it again!
All they camera angles was cool. Thanks
+Jim Sullivan. Thanks Jim, I've got the square baling video coming with some good angles also!
prolly had just a touch of surface rust on the sides from sitting over winter making the hay catch and build up on the sides, after it gets to running it polishes back up and flows smoother if that makes sense, my vermeer will do the same thing first time out, usually 1-2 bales and its better, nice job
+R. Lee Craine. I guess that's what happened, it hasn't done it since.
Good job on this video, make filming look easy
+Larry Hottle. Thanks!
I wasn't complaining, I use ear buds and just couldn't hear you . I enjoyed watching the video..
+Jrbpa 57. Ok sorry you couldn't hear it, try without ear buds maybe?
I have new Holland hay equipment I run a br7090 specially crop. And a 316 disc mower... havent used the disc mower yet....hope to soon
+Ted Kahler. Sounds good I really like all my New Holland hay equipment it has served me well!
great shots of the baler opening the second on scared me. thought i heard that bear when you were leaving the field.lol
+Howard Younger. Lol! No that was probably my stomach growling, hard to stop and eat when you have so much to do by yourself!
do you have bear there?
+Howard Younger. Yes we sure do, especially in the fall when corn is ready to cut.
I have a BR7070 twine wrap that has never gone a day but once without breakong down or wadding up horrendously on the wrong side of the steel rollers.
looks like it was doing a fine job
+FixinThatUp. Oh yeah it's a good baler.
You sure have some confidence in your camera mount! That looks to be some good hay from here.
+Dan Whiteford. Lol. I always worry about my camera when I can't see it from the tractor. Its got a good strong magnet on it but if something hits it, it will knock it off. That was some really nice hay!

+Dan Whiteford. That's a good idea Dan!
The Smatree batteries and other accessories on amazon are just as good as the regular gopro products and about half the price, I run the smatree with no problems
+Elliot Pilson. Thanks for the info Elliot!
+Elliot Pilson. Thanks for the info Elliot!

That answered my question.
Also appreciated seeing the bailer in action.
You bailed 5acres in 7.59? LOL must be a record!
+Atoyota. Might have been some editing involved! Lol
Yes. Show us how u refill that plastic wrap. Thanks and why u use it.
+Ronald Stephens. I use what is called net wrap and the baler wraps the bales with it automatically when it gets full, it's much better at holding the bales together and more weather resistant than just putting string on them. If I get a chance I will make a video of it, its stored away for this year though.
We run a BR 7090,on its 5th year now. Been a pretty good roller, how bout yalls?
+Mark Barnhill. It's been flawless, ours is eight years old with about 3000 bales on it.
DLH Farms same with us our baler is on its 4th year now with about 3000 bales on it. We run a br7090
When they went to the four-digit numbering system, did the baler sizes change much? We run a BR740 and it makes a 4x5 bale. is the BR7060 a 4x5, or a 4x6 baler?
+RustyCarnahan. I'm not sure how thier numbering works but the BR7060 is a 4x5 baler. That's what I have and it's been an awesome baler!
DLH Farms Gotcha. We run an 03 model BR740 which is the same size bale as yours. We've had our fair share of troubles and "learning curve" moments with it in the 3 seasons we've run it. I'll tell ya one thing though, it's SO much nicer than the 847 that it replaced! lol
How does the 120 ride compared to the t4.115 I have a Farmall 120c and am considering the 120u with suspended front axel
+Josh Cage. There is no comparison really the T5.120 rides much better than the T4. I don't have front suspension but I have the suspended cab and loader suspension.
Thanks I really want to get into the Case 120u for as much road travel as I do. Thank you for the info.
Josh Cage i
Do you use bale command plus with that baler? Thats what we use with the same baler
+International Man. Yes, I think all the net wrap balers use bale command plus.
im a new subscriber great videos just a side note nice phone got the same one LOL
+Josh Babcock. Lol it's the Moto Z it does pretty good. Thanks for the sub!
DLH Farms believe it or not I shoot most of my videos from my phone
+Josh Babcock. I believe that, some of my videos are shot with my phone.
DLH Farms please feel free to check out my channel curious about ur feed back
Show us how u put the wrap on the roll bales.
+Ronald Stephens. Are you referring to the net wrap or the plastic wrap that some people use?
mine does th
at same thing where hay comes out sometimes. What model baler is that?
+Josh Timer. It's a 2008 BR7060. That's the only time mine has done that. It didn't do it very long and it quit.
DLH Farms I think it's just in short hay and light windows. also nice rake I'm watching it now.
+Josh Timer. Well the windrows are light when you rake it with that rake, you are probably right! They dry good though!
+Jd5083e. Ok that's good to know, that's the first time that's happened to me though and as you seen it didn't last long. Thanks for the info!
Thanks
Ok. Would like to understand how that all works.
+Ronald Stephens. Ok 👍
Didn't hear any of his talking over the tractor noise...
+Jrbpa 57. Nobody else has complained.
Where are you located?
+powerram92. Patrick county, VA
ran a 7060. worst machine iv ever ran. everyone in our area that's had one hated them. own a deere million times the machine than a nh
+Jeremy Freeman. Ok buddy if you say so.
DLH Farms it's true. U don't bale silage that's why. everyone I know that had a br baler traded them in. all kinds of pickup and bearing trouble
+Jeremy Freeman. Sounds like the same problems John Deere has when they bale silage to me
DLH Farms apparently u never ran a deere. all I know is everyone in our area that had a 740 or 7060 traded them for a Deere or Kuhn. u don't bale wet enough hay to hay wrapping and plugging trouble.
