In Africa most people get into politics to get rich instead of working to better the lives of the citizens they supposed to serve.

The crooked imperialistic West will make sure that he does not get in power because he is the man they fear they would not be able to control him they want puppets like the president who will make deals and keep things the way it's going. But the winds of changes are blowing in Africa and the youth movement is taking over in Africa and they are getting rid of these puppeteers of the West

African countries must review their old constitutions this is where the problem lies.Presidents in power on old constitutions keep resisting constitutional review, the reason is they don't want to leave power.Unless constitutions are reviewed to among other things review constitutions to two terms of four or five years.Museveni of Uganda does not want to hear anything like constitution reviews he knows it will limit him.
Kenya,Nigeria,Tanzania and a few others have their laws amended but other places there is resistance from seating presidents,it's a shame to want to be in power forever.

Those leaders stay in power because they get paid by colonizers, which makes them rich. All leaders should have term limits. They should not be allowed to change those terms at their own will. They should not employ their close family members. The government should be accountable to the people for all financial transactions including salaries, benefits, gifts, and expenditures to operate the government. The people should have open access to this information on the government web page and upon written request from each citizen of the country.

Traore already expelled the Globalist and neocolonial entities from his country, took control over all the mineral, energy and agricultural resources, terminated all exploitative contracts that had been used to defraud his population for decades and brought in Russian security services to assist in defending their land , resources and sovereignty.

Democracy in itself is divisive. America is the same way.. our president changes but nothing else does. I wouldn't mind a leader staying in power if they are improving the lives of their people. I think ppl get caught up judging the superficial rather than substantive results. Using Museveni as an example, i think, was a bad choice since as far as I can tell, he's committed to his ppl and they love him. I think the voices complaining of not adhering to the democratic process are the ones that sow dissension and impede Africa's progress to build itself. Not saying some aren't corrupt, but I'd be wary of fully adopting western democracy and politics as it has never served us well and if it did, the West would be trying to undermine it anyways. As a citizen of the country that pushes democracy the most, i'd say its overrated. There's nothing for black ppl to vote for, especially black men, so we don't bother, which essentially makes democracy ineffective for us.

Malema do not truly know what western democracy is; it is the worst form of government that came into existence by the greeks and all we have do is look at the results of the past implementation and we can see it does not work for them either; as Thomas Jefferson well said, " it is the worst government structure ( form). Then, he was asked again , what form of government has he brought forth?", he said, "a republic if you can keep it", and as you know now, it has been transformed into a democracy - more so a demonacrocy .
