Massive was known for brute, powerful sounds but Massive X is kinda the opposite, can be subtle and beautiful. That wasn't a popular direction NI took with the product I believe. They should have given the product a different name, cause the way I see it the only thing they have in common is that both are wave table synths.
I have the Mk2 version of the keyboard from several years back. If you're asking if the 8 macros up top are automatically mapped to the keyboard, the answer is yes. This is using Komplete Kontrol.
@@DKS-SYNTH-LAB That's not correct, all NKS products can be mapped to Kontrol MK3 (and the previous controllers too). You need to use the "Komplete Kontrol" software on your computer for that :-)
Beautiful sounds, very good synth and great demonstration.
My opinion, I think Massive X is very capable and sounds wonderful. Really does not get the attention it deserves.

I really liked your video! The way you explain each preset is amazing. It inspired me to buy the product. Thank you!
Thank you! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻😎
Question. You used standard midi template on NI controller. Maybe a full setup would have mapped automatically the 8 potentiometers...
Nope, Massive X is not a VST from Kontakt so you can’t see on Kontrol S
@DKS-SYNTH-LAB Uhhmmm... But it is made by NI and it is surely NKS compatible. There should be some "automation" available...
