LOL! I did a dance camp with Ms. Allen. Everything said here it 100% true! If you’re working with Ms. Allen, you’re going to WORK! She is a perfectionist and expects PERFECTION! However, she is also one of the BEST people in the world to be around; she’s funny, fully of energy, doesn’t take herself too “seriously," motherly, a jokester, everything you would want in a boss. She’s great!

Jasmine Guy is a very talented, intelligent woman.
A Different World was like The Cosby Show, Cheers, Living Single, Martin, Golden Girls and The Andy Griffith Show where we ALL knew those characters. We all knew a Whitley, a Dwayne, a Freddy, a Ron, a Kim, a Mr. Gaines etc. That's why the show is still so beloved and iconic to this day it's relatable.
This interview is a treat.

I am really enjoying the behind the scenes tea, I am rewatching the seasons right now and thoroughly enjoying it! She's an amazing actress, she played the heck out of that character and D-Wayne was my favorite, as young girl I just knew I was going to marry someone like him when I got older😂

That shit ain't funny Debbie! LMAO!!! I totally get what Jasmine is saying and you would be too. Denzel was in his prime and one of the top actors in the industry, of course she did not want to meet him screaming his name in ecstasy even if she was in character. That's embarrassing for anyone. Yes it was funny for everyone else as it didn't happen to them and funny to her now but like she said she wanted to meet him as herself lol

I am thankful for Dr. Cosby's vision and genius that he bought to the culture! He uplifted many talented actors and students. People make mistakes, and shouldn't be kicked while down. The legacy of the Cosby Show and A Different World is a testament to his comedic genius that stands forever! Dr. Cosby will always be America's Dad for one reason or another: 1. He captured the hearts of America through his sitcom which earned him the label "America's Dad"; or 2. If you believe he's a horrible person due to rape charges, well then he would have that in common with America as well. For example, the country was built by raping the land for its resources and the indigenous people, as well as the rape of labor from slaves and women in slavery. Yet as Citizens we hail this country and the greatest nation on earth. So if we as Citizens can praise this nation in spite of its horrific origins; Dr. Cosby's legacy which uplifted the culture should remain intact.
