Great review, I really enjoyed it! I am picking up a 2022 TE250i that I snagged for (US)$9199 plus $799 freight and setup. I can't believe I am buying such an incredible machine at age 65 but dirt biking is who and what I am and I'm not about to change now. This will be my first 2 stroke since my 1992 Suzuki RMX 250 and first new dirt bike since I sold my trusty 2003 KTM 525 EXC. I need a lighter, easier to manage bike at this point and I think I found the perfect new ride!

Purchased the te250i 22 couldn't be happier with the bike. Base model exc is junk comparing to the husky 👌

18k for any bike is just outrageous, no way
When I first started looking for a new bike was 2 1/2 years ago and the te300tpi was the one I wanted and it was only 10,500 then and I could have gotten it but I went with a 19 yz250fx, it was 8k brand new with some mods to suit me whi h was an extra 3k and haven't looked back, I would trade it

I was so about to buy that bike but I chose the KTM TPI XC. I wish Husqvarna didn't put that carbon composite subframe on their bike, that's why I did not buy it. Hopefully they figure that out on the next models. Good job on the review thanks for sharing.

@@Mrfurballs check out the TM 300. I never heard of this brand until recently but it looks really nice and they've been around for a while. Supposedly none of the problems that the KTM and Husqvarna have with the TPI. I really like my KTM with TSP upgrade. But doing this brings the bike to higher price, but well worth it. KTM and Husqvarna have parts available everywhere this is why I went that route. There is a lot of awesome 300s to choose from Cheers!

@@barryhallsack8852 You only hear about problems bc of the numbers. Ford makes more trucks than anyone in the world by far. That's why you hear "Fords found on road dead" because when you make a TON of something you will hear about more issues which makes you think they "always" break. TM sold 1,300 bikes in 2020. In 2018 KTM/Husky sold 350,000. The reason you hear about TMs not having issues is because nobody talks about TM and everyone talks about KTM. You money is best spent on a KTM/Husky unless you want the be the guy on the block with something different.

To me no Brembo brakes is the deciding factor.
