What is frustrating me right now is the skill inheritance being limited to 4 after attuned heroes was released 🤡

Powercreep heroes can be frustrating, but what really bothers me is that it is getting tougher to max invest into more units as time goes on. Flower caps get bumped every year but it feels like we aren't getting a higher amount to compensate, and we are actively getting less Ascended heroes and thus less florets due to Rearmed and Attuned heroes taking some of those banner spaces. I want to be able to make more units reach their full potential but the resources just aren't there.

The hero that grinds my gears? Edelgard, or maybe Edelgard... but perhaps Edelgard? I can't quite decide between those.

I love my favorite units that Ive pain stakeingly spent years +10ing suddenly be useless against +0 uber broken power crept new units.

Honestly for me the existence of dancers is more difficult for me than any single unit that has come out recently. They're just so hard to play around

This video describes exactly why I think I need a break in FEH right now. I never had one since I restarted nplaying but yeah there's just no way I can go back to competitive. I think it's better for me just to go and leave for a few weeks then come back.

Ya know Doc, I think right now what I’m the most angry about is how hard it’s starting to get for me as a casual player to run the Askr trio. What I can’t believe hasn’t happened yet is a promotion for them. In every fire emblem game, the main lord gets some sick promotion class. Maybe this is just a Roy situation and it’ll be right at the end they evolve.

If the solution about the problem is use X specific units among a roster of 1000+ unit then there the real problem...

I think the one thing that’s been bugging me a lot recently is how much the skill inheritance creep is increasing while they’re still not letting stuff like Atk/Spd finish 3 be in the normal pool. Why do I have to wait 12 months to pull Young Rebecca just to fodder off Severa without missing any skills?? And then there’s stuff like Soaring Guidance 4 and Atk/Spd Pledge which is useful but only locked on a good unit which I’d have to sacrifice just to make my objectively worse unit a bit better? I can’t even enjoy building my favorite units atp and it’s so annoying

At this point, it might be easier to point to a mode in Feh that isn't frustrating to play. Unfortunately said mode has yet to return because they can't monetize Seer's Snare like they can Hall of Forms and Binding Worlds. Every other game mode has very many faults that make it a chore to play.

Duo Sanaki does not have dr in her own original kit I don’t think…. 🤔 she is just bulky in res stat. (Not counting other supporting units that provides dr or close/far save units that hav dr in aether raids context)

The thing I hate the most about this new powercreep is that for the first time since Fallen Edelgard I'm looking at my barracks and realising I have nothing that can consistently beat these new threats. Every tank I have gets shredded by Winter Edelgard as I've found out this arena season.

It just feels like we’re circling the drain with power creep right now. The interval between the latest problem, and then the solution to that problem being released, is shrinking more and more, and each ‘solution’ just creates more problems. Shiny new nuke > new unit counters it with lots of DR > new nuke halves or completely disables DR> miracle meta > double lethality and fatal smoke 4 to turn off miracle > super scowls to turn off specials > pre combat damage etc etc. Any unit that can’t keep up with these meta shifts fall off hard and fast. This all happened in under a year, not to mention all the warping shenanigans. You could summon the latest units, try your best to keep up with the meta, spending hours crafting a team (or teams for SDS) and still get blown off the board turn 1 in SD. I’m a day 1 player, and this year has been particularly exhausting. I just want IS to pivot away from PVP and focus more on PVE modes that let me play with my large roster of built units.

the fast pace of powercreep has subtly been there all along. it never takes much for a unit to fall from 1st place.
